Thoughtfully renovated with sustainability in mind, this cozy cabin offers large private outdoor spaces and access to the Retreat’s hiking trails, serene ponds, mountain streams, and Lands Creek. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or adventure, Poppa Bear Cabin provides the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and tranquility for an unforgettable mountain getaway.
The Space: We are nestled into the woods on the mountainside, and there are no winding, tough roads to get to it. Our setting is serene with nice views out to the ridgeline. Inside our cabin has a primary king bedroom and a guest bedroom with another king bed and full bathroom. There is a full-size kitchen with a gas range, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Outside, we have both a covered hot tub, and an outdoor shower. We also have a large yard with a fire pit, picnic area, ping pong and other games.
The Poppa Bear Cabin was adapted from another use, and it was mindfully renovated with local, live edge cladding from sustainable local harvesters as well as upgraded to have efficient heating, cooling, and other efficient equipment.Escape to our secluded mountainside cabin, minutes from town and the national park. Fully renovated with two bedrooms, one bath, and outdoor amenities including a hot tub, fire pit, and ping pong. Ideal for 2 couples or a small family. Contact us for larger group options nearby. Pets are allowed only with the approval and prior arrangement with the host. This is subject to limitations and an additional fee applies.
