Host(s) were friendly, meeting us on arrival and offered us two options to set up in. We chose the one a bit further away from the animals (goats, chickens, ducks, peacock, & a pig with piglets) all of which were extremely cute, but we had our dog with us and didn't want to stress him or the animals.
Our spot was a bit more private and further away from the house and pen, Keep in mind s there are no services so make sure you are fully self contained. The spot was nice and open so our solar and starlink had clear views.
Host even offered us some fresh eggs the day we left
It was a peaceful couple of days

The Barnyard Campsite
It was so peaceful at the vineyard! We were right next to the barn with the goats and other animals but had no problems with noise at night. In the morning we got to listen to all the animals waking up and that was fun!

The space is gorgeous! There is plenty of wildlife to see, Porta potty was impeccable, so clean, and honestly didn't smell at all. The grill are and fire pit are such awesome amenities. Host we're incredibly friendly and very welcoming. It is also very close to the fossil museum. I highly recommend this space to anyone who wants a nice little get away.

We had one of the best camping trips EVER!!!!! Wanted a place close to home so this was our pick, just half hour away.
Guin and Keith are the definition of hostess with the mostess!!!
We were greeted upon arrival and showed around the property before setting up.
They joined us for drinks and a whole ton of games of cards in the evenings. We had an absolute blast!!!!! Laughing, shooting the $ hit, such a. Great time!
They checked on us, asked if we needed anything, even cooked us a roasted duck dinner with the freshest duck you’ve ever had.
We got to see the chickens, roosters, guineas, peacocks, ducks, geese and turkeys being fed. Too cute!!!!!!!!
We saw an eagle while we were there!
The property was originally a vineyard (well, it still is) but through some hard times it was left vacant for quite some time before Guin and Keith acquired it. With some hard work this place is going to be beautifully restored and gorgeous.
This would be an awesome spot to workamp.
We are already planning our next trip and have met an awesome friend for life.

We had a great time staying at this spot! We were the first campers at the site and will definitely be back. They asked for feedback and told us of their plans to add to the site out a little more for the future. Despite the weather for the weekend, their land was beautiful and they were very accommodating. It felt safe and very private. They were great hosts and I can’t recommend this spot enough!
