It's been a week since my stay at Wild Fairies, and I've thought about it every day. It was exactly the peaceful break I needed after a hectic few weeks. Truly a serene place to get away and spend some quiet time with nature. I even saw a bear just past the shower! Plus a few turkey and plenty of birds enjoying the Spring weather.
The yurt was just gorgeous. Everything I could've possibly needed was provided. I was kicking myself for leaving my binoculars at home, but there was even a pair in one of the drawers! The bed was comfortable after a day out on the trails, and the outdoor kitchen area was perfect for cooking up meals to enjoy on the porch.

The yurt was amazing! The hanging chairs were a big hit with our daughter!! Beautiful, clean and well appointed with everything you need (ice, propane, water, cooking utensils, spices, foil, wine opener you name it. The interior is designed so beautifully that you really feel as if you are in your own private 5 star hotel. Evan is amazing and we couldn’t recommend it more!

My partner and I typically go the back county or car camping route, but we wanted somewhere soft to land after a backpacking trip on part of the AT. We didn't want to compromise the seclusion and closeness with nature we experience while camping, and April's Tree House was the perfect spot! It was romantic, comfortable, quiet and clean. And we were still immersed in the forest with the sounds of birds and trees rustling. The view from the deck was gorgeous and we enjoyed the light of the full moon through the dome. The waterfall hike left us feeling refreshed. And Evan had the placed stocked with all the necessities from cookware to fresh spring water. It's in a great central location to tons of hiking and a couple of restaurants. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will return in the future!
