Wendy was a great host! Every little detail added up to a wonderful stay! Cute, comfortable, and dry (it rained a couple of evenings during our stay) A-frame provided privacy. The shower house was awesome and she even has walking trails! Come to the Mystic Meadow Love Shack, sit in the rocking chairs, and listen to the riffle of the minnow-filled brook and RELAX!

I loved the time I spent on Wendys land, the view is beautiful, the nights are calm and relaxing, and they're a wonderful host! My partner and I enjoyed alot of time around the firepit, and hiking around the area.

My partner and I had a great weekend here! While most of our time was spent hiking, and unfortunately our trip was cut short due to personal reasons, we loved having a secluded cozy spot to come back to!

Mystic Meadow Love Shack
Our stay was great. The love shake was a great size four two and two dogs. She has very helpful amenities throughout the camp spot. The dogs loved the creak and the trail. The trail was about a 15 minute walk, a must do. She was very responsive and accomidating. The outhouse looks intimidating on the pictures but it was very nice. Clean and no odor at all. The showers were great, clean and plenty of hot water.

We loved our weekend at the Mystic Meadow love shack! This was our first experience with HipCamp and it did not disappoint. The site was so peaceful and cute and had so many fun and intentional details! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom, showers and cabin were all very clean and well appointed. We had total privacy but Wendy checked in periodically to make sure that all was well. The stream sounds were wonderfully peaceful and sitting on the swing by the stream, relaxing in the hammock and enjoying our coffee by the fire in the mornings were highlights. A truly wonderful place for a relaxing adventure. I hope that we can return soon!

This was such an amazing place and space! The land is absolutely stunning, the "Love Shack" was clean, comfortable and the way the roof opened up to the porch was epic. She left little snacks and plenty of resources to discover nearby, even though, I didn't want to leave this haven! The outhouse was surprisingly more pleasant than regular campground bathrooms. Mystic Meadows is truly a magical place to unplug and recharge. There are hiking trails and some games and a hammock. Wendy is an incredible host and I will be back many more times. Best birthday gift I ever gave myself! Thank you!

Very private. Babbling creek all night. Wonderful host that will engage or leave you be. Great spot for deep connection. Shower house close and convenient. It's the perfect spot of getting away and reconnecting all at once . 20 out of 10.

If you need a place to relax and set your worries down, look now further. The Mystic Meadow Love Shack is perfect in all the ways. It's cozy, charming and quiet. The location is tucked away and beautiful, yet close to other areas to hike and explore if you feel inclined to do so. Lots of attention to detail and touches of whimsy. Wendy was a very welcoming and communicative host. As a solo female camper, I felt completely safe. It was a wonderful stay and I'm already planning when I can return.

This campsite was perfect for a rainy, winter weekend getaway. The views were gorgeous, and the site was so cozy. The heater did a wonderful job keeping the cabin warm. Wendy has thought of everything! There was not a single thing I would change; our stay was perfect.

We came to unplug for Christmas! The location was quiet, peaceful, and close to several state parks. The host left snacks and a cute Sasquatch ornament to remember our visit. The bed was comfortable, the outhouse was spotless, and there was a well-marked trail through the woods for a nice walk with the dog. It felt like a campsite someone created with a lot of thought and care. Highly recommended!

Wendy’s hipcamp site was great! Very clean and also have hot showers available a short walk from the “love shack”.
Cleanest outhouse ever!
Close to Mayo and Hanging rock state park.

Wendys land is pure heaven. The trails are amazing, the views from the hill, and the serenity makes it worth my 7 hour drive. I’ve been back to Wendys 3 times now. First time in the airbnb in the main house, i saw the hipcamp and loved it, as soon as she said it was pet friendly i knew i had to bring my dog along! But this time it was just my partner and I for my birthday. It was absolutely breathtaking. Opened the side every day! The new showers are so amazing. Everything on the property is so well thought out! You can tell Wendy really cares about your experience.

The Love Shack was the perfect place to stay with my dogs. They got to run around like wild creatures and have the time of their lives. I made sure that the dogs did not get on the bed (not hard since this is a rule at my house). The shack’s bed was super comfy, the toilet was nearby and clean and there are super new hot showers nearby as well. Wendy was an amazing host and left gifts and snacks for my arrival!! Super thoughtful. I had fresh eggs waiting for me in a cooler and not only fire wood, but smaller twigs and even pre made baggies of quick burning things to help start the fire. There are lamps around the shack to help you see in the dark but I recommend bringing a flash light and head lamp. There are comfy chairs to sit by the fire and rocking chairs on the porch. This place is amazing and Wendy has really done a great job of making it charming and well thought out. I wouldn’t change a thing and will be going back when I get a chance!!

Had a magical experience at this little slice of heaven! Wendy was an ecstatic host, her property was stunning and we had the best time exploring the trails, truffle orchard and saying hi the the ladies(chickens)!! We saw a sweet kitty on our journey and enjoyed roaming the hay fields! Our spot was private and was set up generously with many amenities! We will be suggesting to friends and we will be back!

I had such a lovely weekend at Wendy’s A-frame!
She was kind enough to accommodate a last minute booking and was a great communicator both leading up to and during my stay.
I would highly recommend staying here if you need a little getaway by yourself or with 1 or 2 others - even your dog! I suppose if you bring a tent you could accommodate a few more.
Some of the things I loved:
- Well decorated and lots of love put into the place!
-The side opens up so you can relax on the bed out of the heat or rain and enjoy the trees and creek.
-The “shack” is the only campsite on the property, so it’s very quiet and secluded!
- Showers are brand new and super nice and clean! hot/cold water and lots of space to change and get ready. place to charge electronics outside the showers as well.
-Dare I say the nicest outhouse I’ve ever used!? doesn’t smell at all!
-You get a little creek all to yourself! My dog loved it.
-Little trails all over the property
- Wendy left all the essentials: a few snacks, grilling tools, charcoal grill, lantern, fan, games, extra blankets, pots and pans etc.
Things you may want to bring yourself:
- If you have a dog, bring along a large blanket or old bedspread to put over the bed so you don’t ruin Wendy’s nice bedding. I am so glad I did this as I knew my dog would be in the creek but also want to snooze on the end of the bed!
-Towels, toiletries, extra cooking stuff, charcoal, extra battery-powered fan (if you go during hot summer days).
10/10! :)

Mystic Meadow Love Shack
My family and I stayed at Wendy’s love shack and we couldn’t say enough good things about it! It’s beautiful, secluded and peaceful. The perfect location to get away and enjoy the beautiful outdoors without having to sleep in a tent on the ground. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was SUPER clean and the showers are brand new. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and family! Wendy was very kind and friendly, she definitely went above and beyond with this property.

Seclusion, very peaceful and quiet place. Wendy has gone above and beyond to make this place magical and private! She has put a huge amount of her love and heart into every detail of this site and it shows. We are avid campers and have stayed in many other campsites. None compared to this one. The Love Shack, it's showers and outhouse are all very clean, comfortable spaces.
Dog friendly, our pups could run and frolic the hiking trail with us.
(There is even a bench at the top of the trail for a quiet rest when you come out of the woods!)
The tranquility if the creek which runs by the Shacks porch with 2 rocking chairs, the camps firepit with 2 gravity chairs, the picnic table grill area, the swing and the hammock areas are all awesome parts of this site.
I highly recommend a visit to this site!

Get away to a GREAT GETAWAY!
If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, nature-filled, solitude oasis…then the Love Shack is your destination. Tucked away in the forest on private land, Wendy has created a space for guests to disappear from the busy world and enter a space of tranquility. Nestled beside a creek you can start a fire, listen to the rubbing water and look up at the trees that provide the most perfect shade. I’m not one for naps, but I felt so relaxed upon arriving that I took a nap on the bed (which is super comfortable) with the A-frame open and it was amazing. We also ordered a dozen eggs from Wendy’s chickens and they were delicious- definitely worth a try. It
was truly a perfect weekend and a wonderful way to unwind and appreciate the art of doing nothing.

Beautiful, peaceful site. Wendy was the most thoughtful and courteous host. We loved hiking around the property, and our dog loved frolicking in the creek. Cabin and outhouse were clean and comfortable.
