Munaya means "my wish"—my sacred dream. It's 15 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, about 25 minutes from Asheville, where the land carries the spirit of the Morocco I grew up in: hand-tiled fountains, sacred arches, and a quiet that whispers instead of shouts. This isn't a campground, and it isn't a hotel. It's a sanctuary that you get to stay in. You'll sleep in a geodesic dome, wake to mist over the ridgeline, walk to a tea house, and sit by the fire circle under more stars than you remembered existed. The land is wooded and still. You come here to return to yourself. A few practical things: the road in is paved right up to Munaya, then turns to gravel once you're on the property—any car can make it easily. Cell service is strong, and the Wi-Fi is excellent, so you're held by nature without being cut off from the world. Downtown Marshall is just five minutes away for coffee, a meal, or anything you forgot to pack.
