Mountain Falls stands out as a premier Class A motorcoach resort nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Lake Toxaway, a region celebrated for its stunning scenery and fresh mountain air. Established in 1895, Lake Toxaway quickly became a sought-after vacation destination for affluent families, earning the nickname “Switzerland of America” due to its low humidity and picturesque views. The land on which Mountain Falls is situated has a rich history, originally owned by Singer Sewing Machines until the mid-1900s. It was then sold to Duke Power during the construction of the expansive Keowee-Toxaway hydroelectric project. In 2000, Marathon Coach recognized the area’s potential and created the first luxury motorcoach resort in a mountain range, which we now proudly call Mountain Falls. Many of the original owners still cherish their homes here, adding to the community's unique charm. At Mountain Falls, we welcome guests and owners with Class A motorcoaches that are at least 26 feet in length. To maintain our high standards, coaches older than 10 years must undergo an inspection prior to entry.
