Mimi’s Holler was a great spot for our group tent camping trip! We had four tents, six people, and one dog, and Mimi was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The site had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We spent the weekend playing disc golf, visiting the Pilot Mountain car show, and checking out the local farmers market—all just a short drive away. One of our favorite parts was hanging out on the side deck in the evenings—the fireplace and soft lighting made it such a cozy and relaxing spot to unwind.
I always try to give an honest review, and the only minor downside was that we could hear some traffic from Highway 70 starting around 6:30 AM. Other than that, everything was perfect. We’d definitely stay here again!

Super quiet and super close to 77. I communicate that we would be coming in later and Carolyn was up and welcoming my pup and I at 9pm. The pit toilet is nothing fancy but gets the job done. Note that by the tree line is pretty muddy after a big rain but she had plenty of dry spots to park🙂 if you are passing through like I was there is a sheetz at the exit for gas and breakfast!

Carolyn’s land worked perfectly for me. Quiet and private. Her property is just a mile or so from the highway so fairly convenient. The deck was nice, although I didn’t make use of it.

We had a wonderful time staying at Mimi’s Holler! The location is great, ~30 min from amazing hiking, and right up the road from a dog friendly winery (with a dog park)

I wish I could have stayed longer. So peaceful and Mimi's was so welcoming and friendly. Very very responsive. I loved laying and staring up at the night sky. .

Mimi’s is a great spot! My partner and our two dogs stayed here for a quick night along a roadtrip. The deck is just as awesome as it looks and Scoops Ice Cream down the road is fantastic. We also were very glad for the Sheetz down the road to refuel and grab coffee/ breakfast before we hit the road again.
This spot is very much right in someone’s back yard so it doesn’t feel 100% private but it was WAY more relaxing for my reactive dogs and I than a standard campground.

We had a great time camping. The stream was a hit for the kids. Hardly any mosquitos which was a plus! Definitely recommend!

Quaint, and fun. The stream down the hill was my kids favorite part. It is camping with a touch of home because of the patio fire pit. Definitely recommend!

Mimi's Holler 2
Mimi is a wonderful host. We only spent one night, but she was so warm and helpful. We just stayed for an overnight and it was super convenient, just a few minutes off the highway, with very little noise.

Mimi‘s holler was absolutely stupendous! She was a wonderful and mindful host. Her land is absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I went with our two kids, nine and four, and our two dogs. We utilize the deck, the Chimenea, and the outhouse! We were able to pitch our tent on soft level ground, and there is even a gorgeous hike down the hill to a breathtaking and peaceful stream. The water is crystal clear with beautiful views of cow pasture. We are definitely planning on coming back and highly recommend that you come and enjoy this beautiful plot of heaven!
