Great weekend in a wonderful area
I incredible venue and even better hosts. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a secluded weekend with the option of having a night out on the town. The spot is dog friendly with plenty of space to roam.

Idyllic Farm Stay
We had a truly wonderful experience staying at McLawland Farms in their charming tiny home. Thoughtfully decorated and equipped with all the essentials, the space made for a cozy and comfortable retreat. We loved picking wildflowers and creating a beautiful bouquet to bring home. Evenings were spent around the campfire, cooking dinner and toasting s'mores—such a delightful way to unwind. Families with children will especially enjoy the open spaces of the farm, where kids can run freely, breathe fresh air, and take a break from modern distractions. The location is incredibly convenient, with stores nearby and great restaurants just a short drive away. McLawland Farms offered the perfect escape—close enough to Charlotte for our personal commitments, yet far enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. I can’t recommend McLawland Farms enough! If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate—you’ll love it as much as we did. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

What a gem!
I can't say enough good things about our stay at the tiny cabin (The Whitfield) on McLawland Farms! Jason was just the most gracious host. He truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The cabin/tiny home itself is perfect--well appointed, all the amenities you would expect and then some. We stayed with our daughter, and she loved sleeping in the loft area (and we loved that she had her own space to spread out without us having to worry about tripping over things, haha). The farm is lovely, and allows convenient access to all Charlotte has to offer. We will absolutely be coming back!
