We are urban homesteaders. We try to grow as many flowering plants and foods as we can. We have chickens and they are right under where you’ll be sleeping so know that you’ll be hearing them early.
We have a two car garage that is lofted and that’s your spot.
Attic stairs up to the bed.
Barn doors open to look out onto the chickens.
The garage has a tin roof so you might want to sleep downstairs in the hammock if it rains.
We provide sheets but you’ll want your sleeping bag as well.
We have a bug net for around the bed at night.
The composting toilet is located on the ground floor.You’ll be staying in the loft of a two car garage. It’s like a barn. It has a tin roof and the chickens are just outside. If you prefer to sleep downstairs on the concrete floor on your sleeping mat with your sleeping bag, that’s totally fine by us too :-) bring your own toilet. There’s also a hammock so you can hang by the fire.
