Fully working farm with several wooded areas as well as open spots. We do farm tours and seasonally other events like lamb cuddles, baby goat feeding, etc. Tickets purchased through our website ( landofmilkandhoneyfarmnc.com ) We farm on land that has been in our family for around 30 years. We are always expanding and improving paddocks and areas to be of better use in our livestock rotational grazing and vegetable/fruit production. Animals that call our farm home include alpacas, Katahdin hair sheep, East Friesian milk sheep, beef cattle, Jersey milk cows, miniature donkeys, pasture/forager pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, and quail. We also raise honeybees and bottle their honey on site in our honey processing house. We love our animals and being their caretakers. Farming takes a large amount of time, work, and expense but it can be very rewarding with the slower pace of life, peaceful setting, and quietness in stepping away from the hustle and stress of normal day-to-day life. Here we get to see some of God’s most intricate details in His creations such as a seed turning into a flourishing plant that provides food as well as its own seed for future plantings (Genesis 1:12 - And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind). We watch honeybees who travel for miles gathering nectar to make honey and witness the miracle of life be born. We want the farm to be a place to come and get away, a respite from the all too familiar busyness of normal life to relax and be at peace.Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina site #1 is situated in the woods behind our farm with walking distance to our two farm stores providing food items and gifts. We have a bathroom and shower on the property which you're welcome to use on your stay, but you'd need to drive to or you'd need to walk to (bathrooms/sinks closed in winter due to freezing pipes). This site is the first site on the left as you drive up the gravel road leading into the woods. Four-wheel drive is best for these sites.

We have a bathroom and shower on the property which you're welcome to use on your stay, but you'd need to drive to or you'd need to walk to (bathrooms/sinks closed in winter due to freezing pipes). This site is the first site on the left as you drive up the gravel road leading into the woods. Four-wheel drive is best for these sites.

I loved tent camping on this land! Such a beautiful area, nested into the woods. I had such a great time here and upon arriving, I realized I had forgot something and they were more willing to help me out as best as they could! Such sweet people who own this property 😊 Couldn’t recommend more!!!!!!

Blue Ridge Mountains - Site 1

My friends and I had a great time camping! The campsite is surrounded by trees and it was beautiful seeing all the changing colors. It’s pretty secluded but you can still see and hear cars on the main road. The campsite is also nicely located which made it easy for us to go hiking and check out Boone. The animals on their farm were a huge bonus and all were very cute and friendly!

The campsite was not level enough for our two trucks with rooftop tents to comfortably sleep there. A small tent or a single truck/camper with substantial leveling jacks may be able to make it work, but we couldn’t. We ended up bailing on the campsite and driving an hour to Wilson Creek to a forest service road campsite I knew of. The property itself looked nice and was quiet and close to Boone though, so those things were good.

We loved camping at Brad’s farm. Our site was remote but accessible and the amenities were so functional for our family with 2 kids. The animals are a fun plus! We absolutely loved our time here.

The site was nice and felt secluded, but only 10 minutes from grocery. Definitely visit the farm and meet the animals.
