A Sound Healing Retreat Center for you to find renewal and unplug on 6 peaceful acres with a large creek running through the whole property, several ponds, and a large field of flowers. Our property is a healing space , complementing the sounds of nature and meditative sound healing instruments like gongs and crystal singing bowls to help you find your inner compass. Please ask us if you'd like to add a sound healing session to your camping experience. As you enter the property, flow downstream, leaving worries behind, pass the Sound Healing Pyramid Barn, set up for events and sound healing sessions, in addition to retreats. Under the eaves of the back of the barn you'll find a picnic table to enjoy in the shade while listening to the babbling large creek running along side you and leading you to your peaceful campsite in the field, under the trees, and under the stars. Van and small RV camping spots are located by the workshop and small cabin and the portajon.

Vehicle parking is flat and by the barn and edge of the field and then the tent spots are a one to two minute walk into the flat field. We have wheelbarrows and carts available for you to use to transport your camping items from your vehicle to your campsite. Please do not drive into the field. Fee is per tent. Neptune Tent Site is second closest to the parking, communal fire ring, covered picnic table, and the portaloo. It is also (appropriately named!) alongside a beautiful river and across from a pond. You can also just choose a campspot anywhere in the field. Our property is founded on the use of sound to help the nervous system find equilibrium, inner peace amidst the outer world, and to calm stresses, anxiety, and find greater clarity and purpose in life. Consider deepening your relaxation while you are here at the Inner Wolf Retreat Space by trying our sound healing sessions! We utilize instruments played live in a way that relaxes the brainwaves into the theta state for deep healing and relaxation. Just ask and I’m happy to give more information as well. Cell service ranges here but we have a couple bars with Verizon. We encourage you to unplug and recharge but if you need it, there is WiFi near the buildings; please let me know if you need the password and I'm happy to share it. These are the mountains of WNC so please keep an eye out for any biting insects (ticks, mosquitoes, flies, etc) and use essential oils or bug spray to ward them off best. Cleaning up after your pet is a must, and keep pets on a leash. We have added a hot water outdoor shower for enjoyment and refreshment! It is on the back of the little garden / lawnmower shed (which also has the faucet for drinking water from our clean, filtered, and tested well) and the shower is in a spiral shape and colored purple. Pluto camp is furthest into the field at the far end. It is also alongside the beautiful river. There is a second fire ring near the back 2 campsites, Neptune and Pluto. Consider deepening your relaxation while you are here at the Inner Wolf Retreat Space by trying our sound healing sessions! Access to clean, filtered, and tested well water is found from the faucet on the near side of the little garden / lawnmower shed at the edge of the field / across from the portaloo. If the hose is on the faucet, please unscrew it so you have the cleanest drinking water straight from the faucet. Cell service ranges here but we have a couple bars with Verizon. There is WiFi near the main cabin if needed. Just inquire for the password. Firefly A-Frame Room

Get back to center and reset with sounds of the babbling creek and nature surrounding. You can hear the river from your room and the three, flowing lakes are a short meander away. The Firefly is up a flight of stairs facing the forest and has a balcony with sitting space looking out to the creek. The cozy room has 2 twin beds and 1 full size pull out couch and I can provide a cushy memory foam pad for the pull out couch, fridge with freezer, hot water kettle, mini keurig, microwave, mugs, plates, bowls, cups, silverware. I provide a dispenser of clean, filtered, and tested well water. The mini-split keeps the A frame toasty warm in winter and cools with a/c in the summer. The separate, indoor shared shower room with the indoor Nature's Head composting toilet, is located on the ground floor, as is the portaloo, which is clean and serviced weekly and I personally Clorox wipe down all surfaces and the floor. I Can Stop & Smell the Roses Room

Get back to center and smell the roses with sounds of the babbling creek. The Roses Room is on the ground floor of a former workshop space for the 6 acres. The spacious, simple and cozy room has 3 twin beds, fridge with freezer, hot water kettle, keurig, microwave, silverware, plates etc and plenty of light. A mini -split keeps the 200 sqft room warm. The separate, shared shower room which houses the Nature's Head composting toilet is around the back of the building your room is in, and the option of the portaloo is steps away, clean and serviced weekly. I personally Clorox wipe down all surfaces and the floor. Come stay with us; you won't want to leave! I provide a dispenser of clean, filtered, and tested well water for in the room. Mars Tent Campsite
Our camping experience at the Mars Tent Campsite at Inner Wolf Retreat Space (via Hipcamp) was truly awesome. Upon arrival, we found the directions to the parking area clearly marked and proceeded to park and unload our gear. We then met Dawn, our camp host, who warmly welcomed us and guided us to our campsite. She pointed out the camp’s facilities — including an extra-cool, filtered, and tested well-water spigot, a shower, and a portajon — and we quickly set up camp, eager to explore. Louis was excited to check out all the new smells, while I was looking forward to soaking in the sights and sounds of the retreat. As we wandered through the meadow and campgrounds, we discovered many peaceful spots to pause and simply be present. Benches, picnic tables, chairs, and even a truck-topper hut were all thoughtfully placed to help center the mind and relax the senses. True to its main attraction as a Sound Healing Retreat Center, we especially enjoyed the large creek that ran through the entire camp. It felt like a real-life meditation soundtrack. As Louis and I drifted off to sleep, the soothing sounds of the creek behind our tent lulled us into deep rest. We woke up feeling renewed and refreshed — and would definitely recommend Inner Wolf Retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful, grounding escape.

Comfortable and calm
Firefly A-Frame Room
Dawn is great, very communicative up until arrival and then gives you the space to just enjoy your time there. Beautiful property, very comfortable room and bedding. Great temperature and air flow with the mini splits. We stayed in Firefly and it felt a lot bigger than pictured! Vibes are calm and peaceful. There's not a lot of restaurants around there open or open late, so be sure to pick up some food on your way in. Had a wonderful time!

Dawn and her beautiful healing retreat are tucked away in a magical forest. Dawn was more than an exceptional host. She welcomed us with open arms and offered us one of the most welcoming stays I have ever experienced. I will keep on coming back to the inner wolf every season!

A Sacred Healing Space

Inner Wolf is a special place. The A-Frame room was very accommodating and the bathroom/shower room was a luxury, but the barn space for sound baths was the real treat. Also access to a full kitchen for meals was an extra treat. A special place we plan to visit again. Thank you, Dawn!

Van Haven 2 Peaceful Retreat
I camped in my car at inner Wolf retreat. It was a very cold night, but the amenities of having a clean restroom, drinkable water etc made my stay very comfortable! I only stayed one night, while I was on a mini road trip but a longer stay would have been comfortable as well, there's an indoor kitchen area with everything one would need which was a really nice touch! And I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the sound healing session! It was fantastic!

I Can Stop & Smell the Roses Room
We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was even cozier than what we had imagined and the bathroom was a dream — it felt like I’d stepped into a spa! Super great comms from our host, and overall the vibe was exactly what I love about Hipcamp, with its uniqueness, charm, and ‘leave it better’ vibes throughout the property. Wish we’d had more time. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Asheville!

We ended up extending our stay here for an extra night as we enjoyed the rejuvenation, peace and quiet of the mountains and the beauty of this location. The hot outdoor shower was a fantastic treat during the cold days. Listening to the water running from the stream to fall asleep or greeting you when you woke up in the morning made the experience quite serene. I will be going back to this campsite the next time I’m in NC!

We had the most amazing time at this campsite. The land is gorgeous and our hosts Dawn and David made us feel welcome. We arrived late the first night we were supposed to check in and they accommodated the changes to help us get setup faster. The qi gong sound healing was transcendental and helped me in so many different ways. I highly recommend staying here!

I loved tent camping here! There was tons of space to set up a full camp, perfectly flat ground next to a nearby stream, a hot outdoor shower, and a portable toilet that was well-maintained! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

We had the best weekend camping in our truck camper on Dawn's land! We had lots of space to be free and roam on their gorgeous property. My husband and I also highly recommend attending a sound healing session. It was like nothing we had ever experienced. We can't wait to return!

I loved tent camping on Dawn's Land! It's great for kids, they are able to play in the creek and the meadow. Plenty of shade and a great fire pit! The picnic table was a lifesaver. I have camped for 30 years and this was a great spot.

We parked our camper van next to the fire pit near the creek and had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful scenery and peaceful sounds of the creek. The road is nearby but the noise was not bothersome, we slept through the night without any issues. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will be returning for the sound healing session next time

A-MAZ-ING! I stayed 3 nights camped along the creek on Dawn and David's land. The stars are unbelievable, the sounds of the creek, beyond relaxing, the land incredibly beautiful! I was looking for a quiet and secluded spot to let go of stress and heal some emotional fatigue. I could not have found a better place! Dawn and David were extremely easygoing and welcoming. Next time, I will definitely do the sound bath. The only downside is the road. It's not super busy but you know it's there. Everything else this land has to offer (gardens, ponds, creek,...) More than makes up for the occasional car. My pups and I particularly enjoyed our walks around the property. If you're looking for a beautiful spot, with friendly and welcoming hosts, to just sit and enjoy or to use as a base camp near Asheville (30 min), this is the spot! I can't wait to see how this grows and develops.

I absolutely loved camping on Dawn and David’s property! They were so kind and their land is absolutely stunning! The property is only a few minutes from the highway but feels perfectly secluded while also being close to many hikes in the area. The stream flowing by the camp sites was incredibly calming and in the evening I was able to see fireflies and stars. I also got to experience the sound bath - it was an amazing and soothing experience, and Dawn and David are incredibly talented and kind when leading you through it! Pictures cannot do the beauty justice, I highly recommend coming to visit yourself!
