Learn more about this land: A special retreat at Ravenscroft Equestrian Center. Just 25 mins from Durham, 35 mins to Kerr Lake and its 800+ miles of shoreline, 45 mins to Raleigh, RDU Intl. Airport & the NC State Fairgrounds. Enjoy our areas for camping near our pond with trails and stream on our active, working horse farm. Its like walking into a different land, walking over our treed pond dam.. We even have RV/Camper hookups with easy drive in/drive out location if you don’t want the charm of the secluded camping next to the pond (next to pond no power or running water). Power/water off driveway next to a pony pasture out front. Enjoy seeing horses around you, birds flying overhead, the beauty of the pond, hiking/riding trails around the property and more. You can even stable your horse and come camp or “glamp” with your equine friend.

    Horse Farm w/Pond, Stream & Trails!
    David went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. The farm is beautiful even in December. Plenty of land to explore and my dogs loved it. It was nice to have electric and water for my camper. You can count on seeing me here again soon!

    Peaceful, private, and picturesque
    Such a beautiful site. We camp in an off-grid, overland trailer, so the pondside spot was exactly the kind of thing we look for and we'd definitely come back. Circumstances were such that we unfortunately didn't get to meet our hosts in person, but David was very helpful over text to make sure we got settled in.

    Horse Farm w/Pond, Stream & Trails!
    A great and unique place to camp! David was very welcoming upon our arrival and accommodating, he helped us get out trailer down to the site and even brought us a shovel so we can dig out our fire pit. The camp site was very nice and private right next to the pond. Plenty of space to make your own and also great scenery with horses. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
