Enjoy our little home away from home spot in Camden, NC. We are sitting on about a half an acre of land with lots of wooded acreage around us. You can enjoy fresh eggs, tomatoes from garden, and other fresh vegetables that are growing in the raised beds. We have trails, nature walks and water access just about a mile down the road as well as a 5 minute drive to downtown Elizabeth City. Where you can enjoy local restaurants, waterfront, bars, and shops. Come enjoy the sounds of nature where you will see mostly corn fields, trees, and waterfront. Enjoy a night around the fire pit, kayaking on the river, playing yard games or fishing from the local piers.Shamrock hideout is a hybrid camper with three full-size canvas popouts with mattresses and a fold down dinette. Shamrock also features a full kitchen and bathroom with a shower that is fully stocked with dishes and linens. It sits on a concrete pad next to our home for ample privacy. You have access to canopies, outdoor tables, kayaks, bikes, big communal firepit or a personal firepit, free roam of the big yard to play outdoor games, or just relax.

Affordable adventure!
It was a very nice stay! Our host was very responsive, attentive and helpful. Overall, it was the perfect weekend getaway and had all the necessities we wanted to be comfortable. The rain we heard above the bed and the eggs provided were a lovely touch to the adventure.

Shamrock Hideout
We had a fantastic stay in the adorable Shamrock camper! The location was perfect for exploring the Outer Banks - several beaches were within an hour drive. But for a relaxing change of pace, there was a charming waterfront town nearby too. Our dogs were in heaven with all the extra space, and we loved the comfy beds (two large ones!). The owners were superstars! They accommodated our last-minute booking (30 minutes notice!) and even provided us with a list of dog-friendly walking trails (shoutout to the owners for the 5-6 recommendations!). The camper itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a full bathroom (shower included) and a functional stove (propane readily available if needed). To top it all off, we purchased a delicious half dozen eggs from the owners, which our dogs enjoyed as a special treat. Overall, a lovely stay - highly recommend!
