Beautiful, peaceful camp setting!

We loved our weekend camping on Georgianna's land! It was a perfect mix of tent camping and "glamping" with a super nice bathhouse and everything we could need provided at our site (outlets, water hose, firewood, dishwashing bin, even tongs and a good fire poker stick!) The tent sites are nicely spaced so it feels private, but we were only steps away from the bathhouse which was great. We really enjoyed sitting by our campfire in the woods and relaxing by the creek in the Adirondack chairs. It was super fun to visit the chickens and eat fresh eggs too! The location was perfect, it feels like you're far away from the hustle & bustle but also close enough to Brevard, the Parkway, and lots of other fun stuff to do. Highly recommend and would definitely camp here again!

Our family loved spending the weekend at the Creekside Campsite. Our kids enjoyed splashing in the creek and watching the chickens! Georgianna was an amazing host and made sure all our needs were met. Tons of waterfalls and hiking close by. Definitely recommend.

We really liked this spot in the woods and by the creek. The surprise was the bathrooms. I didn't expect to have privacy and I certainly didn't expect a heated bathroom with heated toilet seat and private shower in the woods! Georgianna is providing the best for her guests. The campground was beautiful with plenty of space and a nice spot for 2 to have your morning coffee by the creek. Oh, and the fresh eggs each morning, was a plus! You won't be disappointed!

Camping with amenities!

We loved our stay at Pine Meadow! My kids spent hours exploring the woods and creek, and we were lucky enough to have almost the entire place to ourselves - only one other campsite was occupied. What a beautiful, peaceful place with all the amenities I could wish for (including a mini farm stand and heated toilet seats/hot water!). We met Georgianna as well, what a cool human - if I lived closer I'd totally force her to be friends with me. 😁 During the day the campground was utterly peaceful, but we had trouble sleeping because a neighbor's dogs barked literally ALLLLL NIGHT, no exaggeration. Not on the camp property, it sounded far away, but unfortunately it echoed very clearly and kept us awake. A previous reviewer had mentioned it but I thought they were being dramatic (and ignored their warning) 😆 - apparently not! Just know it's a possibility, so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Overall we had a fantastic time and so much fun! We would highly recommend giving it a try, and plan on coming back!

Creekside at the Bridge

Staying at creekside by the bridge was great, the roosters were a nice early natural alarm clock, setting was relatively private and they had the site set up very well. The bath house and the farm stand were an amazing touch, and everything was right where it needed to be, also the heated toilet seat and warm showers were amazing. Met the hosts too and had a great conversation with the both of them, they are great people! We will definitely be back! Bravo guys!

Magical spot! Cannot recommend highly enough. Beautiful property and lovely to roam around the land. All of the camping spots are spaced out well to get max privacy and the bath house facilities are incredible! A heated toilet seat...yes please! Loved the creekside seating, the chickens, the farm stand on site - truly a lovely spot. Cannot wait to come back!

Georgianna’s little campground just can’t be beat! It’s honestly more like a hotel, just outdoors, and in the woods! Peaceful, laid back, convenient yet still remote. Starlink internet made changing plans because of weather easy. The bathhouse was better and cleaner than any I’ve ever used, literally. Each site having dry firewood, water hose, lighting, tubs for dishes, and TONS of space just makes staying here a no brainer! I can see return trips happening, especially with the whole family!

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Georgianna as soon as we arrive. She gave us a warm welcome and told us about the space. Amazing little farm stand - highly recommend picking up a few items! Loved going to see the chickens, too. Everything was clean, well maintained, and the heated toilet seats were a lovely surprise!

Georgiana is an incredible host and has a beautiful place. It has everything... a bottle opener? You have it in the tree next to the grill. A firepit? Yes. A bathroom? With hot water and a heated toilet seat. Electricity and water on the pitch. Dish soap, unlimited firewood for a small fee, unwashed eggs from her coop, and a stick. Who would have thought it? Do yourself a favor and stay with Georgiana; one of the best camping experiences so far.

"Sittin' Pretty" Chuck Wagon Camp

Georgianna & Jim's slice of the universe -- and the fact that they share it with others -- is simply sublime. The sites are well spaced with useful amenities -- hose, dish soap, strainer, power outlet, long wood bench near fire pit. And, to take things to an entirely different level of tent camping splendor -- their "outhouse" has toilets with HEATED SEATS and showers with hot water!

Loved the Conestoga wagon

Lovely setting, just off a quiet road. Plenty of firewood at the ready, and was able to get 3 hours out of each bundle with a conservative burn. My daughter had a terrific first camping experience, and we were just far enough from the tent sites to feel private but not isolated. The hens and rooster were cute to visit, bathrooms were spotless, warm and bugfree. Nice to have a hose and a/c outlet right at the campsite, too. Proprietors were attentive, kind, and unintrusive. We plan to come back!

Camping in a MAGICAL greenhouse!!

"Spring Haven" Mystical Greenhouse

This place was absolutely magical! It was very clean and cozy! There was a cute little pond with fish in the greenhouse! It's a peaceful secluded site with a nice fire pit, running water, a grill, a mini fridge/freezer, a coffee machine, and a bathroom with a shower! Georgianna made this place feel like home with all the little touches! She's an amazing host, and I would recommend this place to everyone! Plus it's just a short drive to so many beautiful waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Parkway!

The PERFECT Camping Experience!

This was hands down the most perfect campsite I’ve ever stayed at. The location is unbeatable and just a short drive to rivers, waterfalls, and lakes with great trout fishing. Our host, Georgianna, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even helped us out when we forgot our rainfly, which made a huge difference for our trip. The site itself has everything you could possibly need, which makes it feel like a glamping experience without losing that real camping vibe. We brought a projector screen and had the best time watching movies under the stars, which was such a fun bonus. The setup, the amenities, and the thoughtfulness that went into this place made our stay so comfortable and memorable. We loved it so much we are already booking to come right back. If you’re looking for the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and hospitality… this is it.

Forest Oasis

Incredible. This is the location we began our hip camp life. It was fantastic then. It’s otherworldly now. Go. So peaceful, so serene, but what grabs you is the attention to detail. A beautiful, fully relaxing forest oasis. Full bath with shower and more than one. Fireflies by the creek. There is a deer family that loves the site. They always visit. Go.

Great location for adventures

The camp site was very private as the Pine Meadow is further up the road and on the other side of the street. The little extras were noticeable (Hose, electrical outlet, trails to restroom and river, adorable sitting area near creek, solar lights, built in bench and “bar” near fire pit, cute signs, a dedicated trash bin, covered wood storage with fantastically dry wood, amazing bathrooms)! We also really enjoyed the recommended activities and directions since we didn’t have any internet once we left this WiFi/camp site. Communication was amazing as well. We would definitely return. FYI, the rooster and chickens make yummy eggs and are super cute but if you want to sleep in, bring a loud sound machine.

"Spring Haven" Mystical Greenhouse

I enjoyed my stay at Pine Meadow. The site was a pretty big size and nicely set up. Was the only camper this trip so it was pretty quiet the whole time. There were dogs in the distance who barked all night, so you might want to bring some ear plugs for sleeping.

Perfect, mystical feeling hideaway on the property. Older grandkids enjoyed, with the added benefit of rain protection while grandpa tented it in Pine Woods. Only a few steps between the sites. Very well done!

Beautiful and lovely setting. Campsite in a beautiful pine forest. Firewood available on site, water and hose at each site, shower house charming. Not to mention fresh eggs availability on site too. Having your granddaughter fixing them for us and her brother at breakfast not only delicious but priceless. Georgiana a perfect hostess! And, lots of waterfalls nearby! A great experience!

An absolute gem of a place to stay

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this little campground by the creek. Directions were very clear and drive was easy. Plenty of flat space for set up. The little creek nearby provided hours of entertainment for my two young kids. It was also relaxing for my wife and I to be able to sit there and listen to the water. The bathroom amenities were fantastic. Very clean and updated. And trying to introduce my young kids into camping it is a lot easier when I don’t have to worry about them not wanting to go to the bathroom . Also incredibly nice to be able to come back and take a hot shower after a long day of hiking one of the many trails that’ are easily accessible from the area. My kids also enjoyed visiting the chicken coop and exploring the area around the campground. I cannot speak highly enough of the owner/operators who greeted us when we arrived and made sure that we had everything we need. Overall, an incredible experience and I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to that area.

Too Quick of a Trip

I was blown away by Georgianna's property! The mountains make for a stunning backdrop for adventure but that doesn't always translate to ease. Backroads, spotty service, and a new area you've yet to navigate - can all lead to a frustrated beginning of a trip. Not the case at Woods & Water! From the online directions and guidance, we were able to find the property with ease and then once you've turned off the main road it was immediately evident that this was not your everyday property. From clearly marked signage, easy to navigate routes to each camp site, and a finesse that truly sets this place apart. Georgianna has worked hard to provide a space that respects the beauty of its surroundings but elevates the experience for guests. The hard work is evident with ample clear space for each site that allows options for set up and layout to your comfort. Lighting that is placed strategically to aide in navigating the area after dark but not too bright to compete with the stunning display of fireflies and stars! So much care and thoughtfulness has been put into this property to afford guests the most incredible laid-back experience!

We had a great couple of nights at Woods & Water. It felt more like glamping because of the wonderful bath house, heated toilet seat, shower, electrical outlets, water station and readily available eggs from the chicken coup nearby. The host is very friendly and checked on us and chatted a couple of times, will return!

Beautiful spot with no details spared. Bathrooms were top notch. Wonderful hosts, and very private sites. Even though we didn’t stay in the greenhouse, we went down and looked around at it, and it is amazing… like a little fairy garden. Highly recommend any site on Georgi’s property.

Dreamy campground

Georgianna has an amazing campground!! She thought of many extra touches and clearly loves creating an excellent experience for her guests. The campground was exceptionally well maintained, the bath house was super clean, everything was clearly marked, and the sites were well-spaced. Georgianna was attentive but also gave us lots of privacy and space. I’ve already book another visit with my family!
