I moved here from Colorado just to live on a farm. My neighbor's family has owned much of the land around here since the Revolutionary War. My home is the site of their original homestead. They grow watermelons on their acreage surrounding my farm, while I am growing blueberries. The peace and serenity here is something to be experienced!Enjoy full access to my 4 acre farm in a beautiful valley in the Blue Ridge foothills, 15 minutes from Lake Lure & Chimney Rock; 20 minutes from Tryon Equestrian Center.  Also, easy access to Asheville, Hendersonville, and Black Mountain. Plus restaurants are only 5-15 minutes away. Amazingly, you'll also have access to the full bathroom/shower in my lovely home; and full access to all the fresh water you might need.  All CDC recommended practices are in place. It has a beautiful fire ring under lovely white pines or green cedars.(please bring your own firewood). In addition, I have a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal).  My only requests are to please remove your shoes when you come in to use the facilities and properly dispose of trash and cigarette butts (please pack out your trash).  I look forward to hosting you!!   In addition, there can be a discount for 1 week or longer stays.  Please contact me for more information.

Friendly hostess. Parking/camping in classic meadow in mountain valley with frequent road noise. Clear view of the sky and moon. Access to a nice, clean bathroom with towels and uncrowdedness was the key to paying the area's going price for the otherwise standard campgrounds with complete accommodations.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay on Kimberley’s property! It was perfect for a quick nights camping, with access to a bathroom in her house. Kimberley was very communicative and sweet. There was another couple staying in the Yurt but we were able to position our tent in a nice private spot on the other side of the land by some trees. The location is near a road but we didn’t hear a thing once asleep, also a great spot for stargazing. We highly recommended and would visit again! :)

Exotic Glamping-Yurt Style!!!

Exotic Glamping-Yurt Style!!!
We loved staying in Kimberley's yurt. The yurt is beautiful and very comfortable. Kimberley is a great host and made us feel right at home. We very much enjoyed having access to her house for the bathroom and kitchen. Her muffins each morning were a nice touch as well!
