I stayed in site 2, and falling asleep to the sound of the stream was AMAZING! Really loved the location, as it was in between downtown and the mountain. I will be back!!

We had a great time at Lorri’s herb farm! It was easy to find, comfortable, relatively private, and the sound of the creek is lovely in the background. Lorri was quick to respond and helped recommend nearby activities.

Overall we had a fun time however, 2 days before arrival we were asked if we could drop down the number of cars we were bringing (we had 14 guests and was bringing the allowed amount of 8 cars) for the stay it was a beautiful spot however the "bath house" is not a bath house the shower is a water hose with a moldy bag tied up with holes (you add the water to the bag to shower) with that being said 2 women still decided to shower and while showering the husband came up and sat outside of the outdoor shower talking to the women (we were on an all girls camping trip) it was very strange and they were uncomfortable. Lastly there is no light in the bathroom and the door does not properly close leading to it opening while your using the bathroom. If you are coming here be cautious it is still a very beautiful area just not right on the listings.

Lorri is a great host! Incredibly accommodating and even called us to let us know our best options when booking. The site was private and beautiful, the creek was clean, and the stars at night were incredible. Would highly recommend!

Quiet spot next to a nice stream. Pretty meadow with a view of Mt Pisgah. Lorri and Rich were very nice and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway for some hiking. Solar shower and pit toilet were quite rustic, but we were ok with that, since the site is so quiet and private. Would definitely return.

Fantastic little farm tucked away in the hills outside Asheville. Lori is an excellent and personable host who delivered a bale of firewood to me personally. Her space was quiet and comfortable with very few mosquitoes. I'll definitely be back!

Nice quiet place but not exactly as advertised. Upon arrival we were asked to not urinate in the toilet. Quite a disappointment as this is not shown in the listing. Solar shower bags were empty and we were not informed that we would have had to fill them up ourselves. Photos of the specific site we stayed at show photos of another sites making it appear there is a shelter there (on site 1) and there is not. Again nice quiet place but if we had known the toilet wasn’t fully usable and the shower needed to be filled by the guests in order to use we would have looked else where or prepared differently.

Lori and Rich have a beautiful spot right on the creek and they were very accommodating. They've had a lot of rain lately so the ground is soft in places, so be careful unless you have awd.

Our group really enjoyed this camp spot! We were able to park our cars close and the platform was a lifesaver especially since it rained! We also enjoyed the firepit and creek areas! The restroom and shower were a little lackluster but we didn’t mind too much! Thankful for a kind host and a wonderful couple days in nature! Very close to some great hikes and good times on blue ridge parkway 😀

Best Campsite Ever

This is Ann awesome place to camp. The sites are super beautiful and serene. I swam in the Little creek! I saw deer, dragon flies, butterflies and roses and no mosquitoes. Lorri is super sweet and welcoming. Very friendly and helpful. I slept so good near the water. Very good location for getting in to asheville and also to Mt Pisgah (easy hike with incredible views) I can not recommend this place enough, especially as a single female camper. I felt totally safe to relax and enjoy nature.

Me and 3 others camped here and we had a great time. Having the creek right near by was very nice and being able to listen to the sounds of the water at night was so relaxing. I also loved how there was a fire pit there at the camp site, and how the host would offer firewood for a cheap price it was very convenient. Both of the hosts were very helpful and friendly. The only downsides about this site is that it appears much bigger in the photos, we had somewhat of a hard time fitting two 2 person tents at the site as well as fitting all of our stuff, the site is a little pricy for what you get as the site was quite small. The other downside is that the outhouse/shower seemed to be very unkept. Also the parking situation could be problematic as there is a lot of mud and if it rains you could get stuck, I would suggest a 4WD. But other than that the site was nice and it was a great place to unwind and relax and the hosts were very nice. I would come back again!

Great spot on the creek. Campsite was great for a two person tent with two people, I'd imagine it'd be pretty cramped with two tents. Very little bugs. Outhouse is available, shower wasn't available while we were there but taking a dip in the creek is great. Owners are very nice.

We stayed here for a full week and found it central to a lot of things we wanted to explore. Out of the city but only 20min to downtown Asheville. Stayed one night at site 1 but found the small waterfall much to loud. Lori had no issue switching us over to the platform site which had stunning views and much more space for our family. This location is solo travel friendly, quiet, and magical with the nightly firefly show. There is a pit toilet and outdoor shower that requires filling bags with water yourself. Some nights are priced higher and a little spendy after hip camp fees but more than met our needs for the week.

Wonderful place to camp at campsite number two. Really nice to set a place up, especially in the warm weather months under the tree canopy by the river. Beautiful and well worth it.

Nice place to camp, but... the owner yelled at us and scolded us when we arrived (that was our welcome) because a vehicle drove across the yard. The bathroom was horrible, and we didn't even mention the shower. Too much debris and old furniture lying around the property.

During our stay we endured the rain, we set up a tent on one of their platforms and it was wonderful. There were so many fireflies! Truly a magical stay.

Poor site, amazing fire fly shows

The owners were friendly and communicated well. We were underwhelmed with the property and camp site itself. Camp site 3 was very small and for the most part unimproved - uneven ground and unlevel. Amenities such as a picnic table or camp grill were absent. The fire pit was broken and propped up with a broken concrete block. The creek had trash in it, and other campsites also had abandoned yard equipment discarded in the bushes beside them. The good part - we saw the most amazing fire fly show of our lives in the evenings. Thousands of them.

Absolutely stunning Mountain views, beautiful landscape, and kind hosts! The creek is pristine and great for wading, tons of walking space; go outside after dark to see the fireflies glittering.
