This is an oversized pad on .5 acres directly on the French Broad River. Walk down the stone steps to the beach, and swim, fish or just play in the water. Deer, bear, otters, geese and eagles have all been spotted from the deck of the pad.
This pad is directly on the river and is, therefore, in a flood zone. Guests must keep current on river conditions and be prepared to evacuate should river conditions change. The app titled River App gives a forecast of river conditions. Select French Broad River "at Marshall" to get notices on conditions.
Enjoy Asheville only 20 minutes away or explore the historic town of Marshall, with the quaint eating establishments and bars with a deck on the river to take in the view.
Additionally, you must go under a bridge that has a clearance of only 13'3"; your rig must be less than 13'3" high to get under the bridge. This pad is oversized, so there is plenty of parking for additional vehicles, but the height requirement is fixed.The French Broad river is considered one of the oldest rivers in the world. From the deck of this oversized concrete pad, you can watch deer, bear, geese, otters and eagles. Listen to the sound of the river or the occasional train meandering through the mountains. Your rig must be under 13’3” to get under a bridge to the pad.
Explore historic Marshall and the food and drinks available in restaurants and bars overlooking the river. Asheville is only 20 minutes away for exploring this popular city.
