Welcome to our peaceful yurt tucked into the hillside of our 38-acre dream property in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just 5 minutes from downtown Marshall, this cozy semi-off-grid stay is perfect for those seeking a balance of rustic charm and simple modern comforts. The yurt features a sleeping area with a twin XL/full bunk (plus a twin trundle) and a queen futon—ideal for couples, small groups, or families. Inside you’ll also find a dining nook and kitchenette equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. There’s electricity, a split unit for heat/AC, WiFi and a bathroom with a Separett toilet and a sink powered by an electric pump. Outside, enjoy the quiet rustling of trees, total privacy, and starry skies. You’ll have easy access to hiking, river tubing, the hot springs in Hot Springs (20 min away), and all the arts, food, and music that Asheville (25 min away) has to offer. Please note: The yurt is not on a water line or septic system. Our off-grid system includes a composting toilet, an electric pump sink, and a fillable water tank for washing dishes.The yurt is comfortably outfitted with a twin XL/full bunk bed (plus an XL twin trundle) and a queen-size futon. It includes a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker—perfect for easy meals. Right off the driveway and just steps from the yurt, you’ll find logging roads and private trails to wander—perfect for light hiking, meditative walks, or exploring the land.
