Eden Oaks Vineyard & Campground was a tobacco farm (antique tobacco barn still on property). The house was built in 1910 and has been updated. We purchased it in 2014 and converted it into a vineyard. We have RV sites with 50 amp and 30 amp electric hookups and water, and tents sites. For 2023 our rates are $30/night for RV Sites (50 amp or 30 amp electric hookups and water) and $25/night for Tent Sites. Tent sites do not have electricity or water hookups, but water is available at the well. (Due to inflation, 2024 our rates will be $30/night for RV Sites, $25/night for Tent Sites.) We do not have a dump station, but we do have a Port A John and a list of dump stations nearby. Campfires are allowed unless we have a state issued burning ban. Campers are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires. Please be extremely careful during dry or drought conditions. Conveniently located one mile from Hwy 421 but remote and peaceful with plenty of room to roam on our 22 acres with grapevines, fruit trees, forest, creeks, fields, goats, Beagle and Jackabee (Beagle/Jack Russell) dogs, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. Also, we have wildlife such as birds, squirrels, groundhogs, deer, raccoons, opossums, etc. We are about 15 miles from Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro (home of the Merle Fest and Apple Festival). Eden Oaks is 18 miles from W. Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir, 24 miles from Stone Mt. State Park, and 10 miles from Elkin (sponsors of the Wine Festival and Pumpkin Festival). Eden Oaks is in the heart of the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek AVAs (American Viticultural Area). We're next door (3 miles) to Raffaldini and Piccione Vineyards. Take a day trip to Boone, Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Airy, Winston-Salem, Charlotte or additional areas of interest. We love it here and would like to share it with you. Learn more about this land: Shaded and semiprivate in woods with creek on property. Located on a working vineyard in the Swan Creek AVA. Primitive camp sites with campfire pits. Water, garbage cans, some sites have electricity available.  We offer individual sites of up to 4 people and group sites of up to 12 people.  We have 3 RV sites with water and 50 amp electric service, and one with 30 amp and water.    We have 4 primitive tent sites with fire pits.  We also supply one free bundle of firewood (more available for purchase if needed).  Please message us if you have any questions.  We look forward to hearing from you.   Update 10/3/2020:  Todd and April have opened FIRESIDE ESPRESSO--check them out on the web.  Update 4/28/2021:  Our Site 1, Site 2 and site 3 are RV sites with 50 amp electric service and water hookups.  Sites 4 is a 30 amp electric service with water which can be a small RV or a tent site. Site 7 is a tent site with a picnic table and fire ring. (Campfires are the responsibility of the guest. Please control the campfire and extinguish it when finished. Be extremely careful during drought and dry seasons.) It's located next to the creek and is a popular tent site. It's one of our larger sites. Shaded. Grassy. (Since this is one of our largest site, it can accomodate 2 tents. Charge of $10 per night for extra tent.) No electricity or water at site. Water available at well.

Very nice , just off the road. Easy pull in, and pull out. Having the 50 amp electric, was a big bonus. My 2 German Shepards, had plenty of sticks to chew on. 🤣

Had a quick 1 night stay, last minute trip. Had a quick response to accept our reservation. Site 4 was perfect, easy to access, power and water on site. Great for our Sylvan GO popup. Roy greeted us on arrival and showed us around. He brought a nice size stack of firewood. He also borrowed us a 30A -> 110 adapter so we could plug an extension cord in. We enjoyed the visit in the morning from the donkey and cows. Beautiful property, great hosts, we'll stop back next year.

We loved the camping spot. It was beautiful and peaceful. The meet and greet from the host was fantastic. We really loved visiting the old tobacco barn and walking the trails through the woods.

Lovely "in the woods" and QUIET! A 30 A plug in a real treat! The old tobacco shack is very cool and Roy was so nice to show us around! Great spot! And wood for a fire!!

Gorgeous bit of property, Sandra was friendly and efficient. We came on a weekend that we had the place to ourselves and were able to just choose whichever site. Shame we found it so late in the year when it gets dark so early.

We enjoyed the weekend so much! Stayed in #3 in a 30 ft travel trailer. Very comfortable! Enough room to spread out! Best thing in the world… Campfire! What a gift to have wood stacked! Be aware there are animals, therefore, barking, and rooster crowing. When we drove up, I heard the barking and I thought oh dear… but it stopped. And then when I would hear it over the weekend, it didn’t even phase me! You also have a road in front of you screened by some trees; there is some road noise, not much on the weekend. We found it did not bother us due to how comfortable we were in the space. Felt very safe and appreciated the friendly hosts! They checked on us just to see if we needed anything. #2 is right beside us, we were blessed to meet a fantastic couple! Sat around the campfire together, two nights in a row! You just never know where you’re gonna meet new friends! We will be returning for sure!

I really enjoyed Eden Oaks camping. Beautiful property. Lush with trees and shade. 50 amp power and water at each site. The camping is right off road, but with the big trees and quiet street most times, it was perfect.

Our family of four loved our stay at Eden Oaks as we explored Elkin, Pilot Mtn and Hanging Rock. We came with our 24-ft. trailer and had plenty of space in site 3 (with lots of great shade). The water and electric hookups worked perfectly, and the firewood was very much appreciated. Our young kids loved seeing all the animals! Sandra and Roy made us feel very comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommend!

That was very private and accommodating as it was fantastic to have both power and water hook up. It was a very peaceful area with a great creek that ran through the property where we took our dogs to go play. Sandra & Roy were very accommodating and kind. If we go back to that area, we will most likely stay there again.

We loved our long weekend at Eden Oaks Vineyard! Sandra and Roy were delightful! They were very helpful when determining whether our 39' TT would be better suited for site 2 or 3 (we buddy camped with my sister and her husband). Turns out either would work! The site was level and mostly shady, and was outfitted with a large fire ring and a picnic table as well as water and 50a electric. Roy was happy to deliver extra firewood, which we burned, even though the weather was on the warm side. We took a day to explore Stone Mountain State Park to hike the waterfall trails and the summit, then on to the BRP where we picnicked at Doughton Park picnic area. While in Ronda, we visited Raffaldini Winery and omgoodness, what a lovely day! Simply spectacular and highly recommend, even if you don't drink wine! One thing to note: Eden Oaks doesn't have sewer hookups/dump station so you'll need to make plans for that. Check with Roy--he knows where to send you! All in all, I highly recommend Sandra and Roy's quiet country haven at Eden Oaks.

Nice private area off the beaten path but still close to town. There were some goats, 2 cows, a donkey and a rooster on the property as well. The only negative was no dump site on the property and nearby campgrounds wouldn't let us pay to use theirs.

The site is spacious, quiet, and features a spring running behind it. The host is super friendly and responsive. Two things that bothered us were: 1. There is a hole on one side of this site that was never mentioned to us. 2. There is no toilet or water (except for the spring) on the site. We had to walk to the house, where there is only one portable toilet and a water tap. Overall, we had a good time.
