Clean, serene and small creekside camp. Wonderful hosts Anne and Chris have cultivated a peaceful and safe property to share with us and I am grateful. Going home with fresh eggs and a full heart.

I had such a wonderful stay at Anne and Chris’s property. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — Chris even taught me how to make my first campfire. They generously let me stay in their teepee, which was such a cozy and peaceful experience, especially falling asleep by the creek. The property is full of friendly animals (cats, dogs, and chickens!), and getting to hand-feed the chickens was such a fun and unique moment. I felt completely safe here as a young woman of color solo traveler.

An absolutely wonderful campsite. We tent camped during our stay but got slightly rained out but fortunately they had wonderful facilities on site such as the hot shower and private bathroom as well as the game room with pingpong and pool. 10/10 will definitely be camping here again if we find ourselves in the area

This is our second time staying here! Everything is the same as the first, we liked this place a lot. The owners are great and very helpful! We enjoy the noise of the creek and the proximity to Bryson City as well as Smokey Mountain NP. Thanks for the great stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Anne, and Chris' property. It was very tranquil and safe. We stayed right next to the stream that runs through the property which was incredible. I know other reviews say the road is a little loud, but we felt that it wasn't too bad. I would certainly recommend this campground if you are wanting to stay central to all of the adjacent towns. As well as the National Park!

Sites are very close together and right next to road that had cars at all hours of the night. “Private bathhouse” was an old single person bathroom in a mobile home. Not sure how often it got cleaned. No access to the creek at the campsite. No shade on rv units 1-5. I think these sites are overpriced. Maybe my standards are too high?
On the positive side, one of the owners did loan us a hose when our connection to our campervan did not work. He was super nice.

This was a lovely private, peaceful campsite, with a clean and convenient bathroom, and the added bonus of a games room which would be awesome in bad weather. I loved the chickens wandering around, and it was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the creek. Anne and Chris were really friendly and hospitable, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great camping spot with kids! There’s a nice area for tents that circle a fire pit in the middle so it’s a nice place to go with friends and all be near each other in one space. There’s creek is great. Our kids played in it frequently. There’s also a game room our kids enjoyed

We had a nice stay at Conley’s Creek! The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, and the WiFi worked surprisingly well for a campsite. The location is really convenient — close to a lot of great spots for exploring — and the creekside area is peaceful. The sites are very level, which made setup a breeze, and the chickens wandering around added a fun, farm-style touch.
That said, the campsites themselves are on the smaller side and pretty close to the road, so you do get some traffic noise. The bathroom setup could use a little improvement — the door opens right into a corner, which makes it awkward to get in and out, and the shower could’ve been a bit cleaner (mildew on the curtain and a slow drain).
Overall, a cozy and friendly place that’s great for a short stay if you don’t mind things being a bit snug.

Ww had a lovely visit during our stay at Conley's Creek Campground. If you like the sounds of a babbling brook, you'll be right at home, as there's a creek that iss on site. Anne has pasture raised chickens and does sell the. eggs to her guests. Nice location to visit the Great Smokey Mountains. Great hosts, that are easily reached if you need to co tact them for any reason.

I’ll start by saying the host was very nice. It went downhill quickly from there. The campsites are way too small. Neighbors are too close. We were only a few feet from the road and I heard cars all night long. The one and only “bathroom” is a joke. It’s tiny. And it gets shared so you might not be able to even use it. It rained so walking anywhere meant wet feet because there are no walkways. Not worth the money imo.

Good place for a basecamp

We had mixed feelings about this site. It’s a perfect location for between Cherokee and Bryson City. As stated before it is right on a busy road but the road gets quiet at night. Site 1 is very unlevel even for our 5x10 and the wifi doesn’t really reach the site. The bathroom is a good walk (maybe 50 yards) from the sites and there is only one toilet and shower for the whole place. But it was clean and the host was very friendly. The only reason we wouldn’t stay again would be the bathroom situation because we don’t have a bathroom. But if you have a camper with a bathroom it will work.

Anne was so sweet and extremely helpful throughout our stay. She even brought over watermelon to help us pet the chickens! She was super easy to communicate with throughout the trip. The land is beautiful, each site has a good amount of space and nice fore pits. The bathroom is a bathroom, not fancy and only one of them so take that into consideration if you have a large party. They have potable water for free use and firewood/ice/eggs for purchase! The location was perfect into town and the park! The only other thing I wish we knew was that it is quite close to the road so you do hear cars/motorcycles going by

Very comfortable, great facilities (bath house, power, water ...). Great location for exploring the Smokies. Anne was super helpful. The sites are pretty close together and you're by a road, so it's not very private, but very comfortable. Thanks Anne!

Really enjoyed this campsite, falling asleep to the sound of running water in the creek was lovely. Campsite was easy to find and close to lots of great hikes. Anne was a great host!

Searching for waterfalls

Decided to leave Myrtle Beach and head for the mountains. Searched Google for a campsite and found this site on Hipcamp. Beautiful area. We were greeted upon arrival by the owner who gave us a quick rundown of his property. Very helpful and friendly. I asked about the water quality. He said it was the best--it is! We loved it here and will be back if we're in the area again.

The tent camp sites are great. They were level and right along the creek, so the sounds were perfect to lull me asleep.

The tent sites are large, noticeably flat for tents, and provided with shade. The creek is easily accessed from all three sites. Anne was especially helpful with ideas and suggestions for the local area. The free range chickens are adorable. The only concern was access to restrooms and bathing.

Although we had mixed feelings about this place we absolutely loved Anne and Chris! Their hospitality was amazing and they truly cared about their guests! It was super peaceful and gave our dog the perfect space to camp for the first time. My dog is very anxious and barks a ton when she’s stressed and not once were Anne or Chris upset with us or our dog. They were also great at communicating with us and made it clear to reach out if we needed anything! Our only hang up is that this campsite lacks adventure and space. We did feel very close to the other tent campers and also all had to share one bathroom (one toilet). That made getting ready at night and in the mornings a little lengthy. There were also no other activities do there other than the game room and playing around in the creek. So overall we absolutely love staying at Conleys and would recommend this site to families with young children or even newer campers that don’t have much experience. Thanks Anne and Chris for making us feel so comfortable.

Connelly camp was beautiful! We spent two days just enjoying the creek. It was so crisp clean and deep. Anne was so helpful and made several referrals to activities that I have never done in the area. I have been coming to this area of the mountains for 30 years and thought I had done it all, but there are so many things to do and see, and we will be back again soon. We also really enjoyed the fresh eggs from the Dixie chicks for several breakfasts. Those eggs were beautiful, golden and tasty, from some very happy hens.
