Looking for a place to camp while visiting the greater Charlotte area? Come stay in the woods at our private campsite tucked away in nature. Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, find peace and solitude amongst the trees. Cozy up and light a fire, enjoy dinner sitting at the picnic bench and feel like you’ve gotten out of the city. But still be close enough to amenities and activities. Plenty of adventure awaits when you only need a quaint little place to stay to take it all in. Come and enjoy our little piece of property and have fun! With a quick 4 min jaunt down to the Renaissance festival Oct- Nov to partake in all the fanfare, you will be pleased with the ease and nearness of our site. For you race fans, only a 20min easy drive to feel the cars thundering down the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Catch a concert at PNC music pavilion 19min away. Currently no bathroom, must be self sufficient, pack in pack out. 40’ level pad. Plenty of firewood and dead fall to make a fire in the pit. Should be proficient at backing your rig. Picnic table. Fire pit with cooking grill and a few chairs. Pet friendly but please pick up after your furry friends. Two hundred yard gravel road leads to paved driveway onto the property. 4 mins from: Harris Teeter, Bojangles, McDonald’s, Subway, DiMaggio’s pizza, Midor sushi and hibachi, Indian cuisine Check out the list below for approximate times to various other fun filled places…. A beautiful, solitary, and secure wooded santuary in suburbia. Might be challenging backing in for trailers over 25 feet. Please check local fire level before using the fire ring.

Exactly as was advertised! Beautiful space, fairly level, easy to access and very close to the Ren Festival. The owner was communicative and provided easy instructions for the space.

We had a great time staying here! Bill had put a lot of care into this site and it shows. The location was great for visiting friends in Cornelius. We also went to the Ren faire and no exaggeration, this is the best camping for the Carolina Ren Fair that you could possibly find. The drive is four minutes straight down the road and nothing beats coming back to a campfire after a day at the festival. I travel in a 22' travel trailer and backing in was no problem, the plot is nice and wide at the entrance. It is a beautifully shaded site which is great for keeping the trailer cool on hot days.

Great campsite! The instructions were super clear and easy to follow. It felt private although you could see the road through the trees, but there wasn’t much traffic or noise. The fire pit was filled with kindling and there was extra wood stacked for our use. The tent area was a bit uneven and wet since it’s mostly bark, and in a shady area, so it didn’t have a chance to dry out after the rain. Overall, would book again!

We enjoyed the secluded wooded area and our grandkids enjoyed eating s’mores for their first time around the fire! Great place if you don’t have a need for electric or water.

CJ's Suburban Oasis was a perfect getaway for our quick trip to Charlotte. It truly is a little oasis amongst the suburban growth. There is a smidge of neighborhood road noise through the trees, but it in no way diminishes the enjoyment of the site. The fire pit is a nice feature although we did not use it. Bill was very easy to communicate with and we will most certainly look to stay here upon a return trip to the Charlotte area.

This spot was great! It felt secluded, it was quiet and well kept. Appreciated the firewood even though we didn’t use it. Would definitely recommend!

Bill is an excellent host and the site is easy to access. It offers a beautiful woodland setting while being close to Lake Norman, Davidson amenities, and the greater Charlotte area.

The site was awesome and very easy to find and was well maintained for a primitive site. We stayed for one night to break up a road trip but we will more than likely book again for future road trips.

Very nice location! Well kept and secluded. There is a busy street near by but it was not an issue at all. My wife and I were comfortable and really enjoyed it. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a beautiful spot super close to downtown Davidson! Bill was a great communicative host and even set up all the things we needed for a fire in the fire pit and we just had to light it! We had a lovely restful night and would love to come back again!

This hidden gem was the perfect spot to spend a few nights while in the Davidson/Huntersville area visiting relatives. Easy access to a large, private campsite. There was daytime traffic noise from the nearby subdivision, but super quiet at night. Bill has done a nice job creating this oasis.

Exactly directions. The camping area was in a gated spot and felt safe. Nice chairs and fire ring. Needs work on the tent pad and paths cleared. Overall nice stay.
