We have undeveloped farmland with small clearings for camping across from Riverside Park on the Northeast Cape Fear River. Our land is located in Castle Hayne, NC, an equestrian community just north of Wilmington. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, and sunbathing are available on the river. Down the road in Castle Hayne you'll find mountain biking, horseback riding, disc golf, restaurants and socialization (try Luck's Tavern for great live music and karaoke!) We're also located just a short trip away from unique area attractions, including Masonboro Island, Screen Gems Film and TV Studios, The USS North Carolina Battleship, Fort Fisher, Wrightsville Beach, and Historic Downtown Wilmington. We made a quick and last minute decision to just get away for 2 nights and this was perfect for us!!! Very easy and convenient to book a reservation just book pull up set up and enjoy your stay very quiet and relaxing and my dogs 🐶 had a blast as well

Secluded. Nice park across the street and easy drive to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. Grass was pretty tall which made setting up an outdoor space difficult, but we only stayed a night so it worked.

Quiet open field by the end of a road. Excellent location to boondock very close to Wilmington. Plenty of room for just the 2 camper/RV that we were. Maybe in summer it gets packed ?

It was easy to find and very open area. The entrance is a little bit hard to see but since it is on a dead end road we just turned around. Very clean and kept up. Loved our stay!

One of few sites near Wilmington

I'm happy to have found this site as it is one of few places to camp near Wilmington. There's a river nearby which was very nice to see, and it would be easy to set up a kayak there; there was also picnic tables! It was a bit difficult to stake a tent since the ground was so packed. Also I wouldn't recommend this campsite if there are lot of reserved spots; they weren't clearly labeled so I'm sure it could become cramped with tents, cars, and RVs. I arrived and just chose a spot that seemed to resemble what I had reserved. Primarily due to lack of options nearby, but clear communication of what the site would be like (primitive), I would give it 4/5.

Absolutely solid and low maintenance experience staying here in Castle Hayne! Great location, on a quiet road near the Cape Fear River. There is a bar nearby if you want to find local entertainment. No rain for a few days prior and my little sedan was fine, but field could get muddy with rain, so small car drivers should watch the weather.

Jane’s land is definitely a bare bones camping sight yet it is wonderfully private and peaceful and we felt very comfortable and safe the entire night. Would definitely recommend as it is near to the beach and downtown Wilmington!

Overall decent experience. Lots of uneven ground, hard to find a good spot to set up for the night. Very muddy through the entrance/to our spot, thankful we had our truck. Neighboring dogs barked all night, which kept us and our dog up. Place is very easy to find, field was quiet as we were one of two groups there.

This spot was a good place to stop for the night on our way up the coast from Georgia. If we’d had time and the weather was better, we might have taken advantage of the River just across the road. Felt private and safe.

Most comfortable I've felt in a camp spot ever! Very private and cleaned up and the owners are incredible and caring, the price isn't even the best part! We are daily renting for now and plan to continue while we look for a place to live! Very beautiful view with a nature walk to a dock across the street perfect for watching the sunset. Respect the rules and you will be pleased!
