Beautiful spot surrounded by wildlife and mountain scenery. The campsite is perfectly situated on a comfortable clearing. The host was incredibly helpful with any and all questions and I am thoroughly pleased with our stay. The best Hipcamp site I’ve experienced so far. Highly recommended if you really want to get away and enjoy the best North Carolina has to offer.

Awesome place and view, no neighbors in sight or earshot. Super private place where you can really feel alone and away from it all. The drive is pretty steep and somewhat tight in a spot or two in the dark, but we had no issues, just put it in 4wd at the bottom and eased up to the top.

Four wheel drive must have! Once you conquer the drive in, you have made it to a pure private slice of what the wilderness area is all about, only with very bougie accommodations. Our stay was a peak leaf change and wow what a spectacular show with a phenomenal view that is unbelievable. Already booked next year's trip.

We LOVED this site. It’s definitely steep, our Jeep Cherokee almost didn’t make it… they’re not joking about needing 4WD. But this was definitely one of our favorite spots!

This is a really special place. The views and the hot tub were both amazing! There are lots of nature trails to explore nearby if you want to venture out. We had a great weekend and appreciate the host offering this place for others to experience it.

Absolutely beautiful site! Private, picturesque and so peaceful! Lee was very responsive and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this campsite, it is amazing! A4x4 would be helpful, but we were able to make our way up the driveway in a sprinter van with no issues. Highly recommend!

I am sure there are some spectacular camp sites on the west coast, but I doubt you will find anything better east of the Mississippi. Amazing view of Table Rock, hot tub, outdoor shower, easy hookups, and no one else around for miles. This site is a unicorn. The only caveat is that it takes some effort to get to it. The road/driveway up to the top of the mountain is gravel, steep, and has a few tight switchbacks. I pulled a 25 ft Airstream to the top and it was very sketchy. We made it, but we have a strong maneuverable tow vehicle. I am so thankful that we got to the top. It was worth it.

This place was simply magical! My husband and I came for our first wedding anniversary and we are leaving with full hearts.
Amazing views, ample parking and the hot tub was divine! The drive was windy and the spot remote. We definitely got to test out some of our equipment with the storms that rolled through.

Truly enjoyed the view! The hot tub was hot when we arrived. The lot was private and overlooks a wilderness area. Would return to this site! Outdoor shower available, firewood available, and views available.

This hipcamp is one of the most magical we have been to. It is gorgeous and the photos don’t do it justice. I highly recommend this hipcamp and we will be back.
One note for anyone driving a camper - the driveway up has a lot of sharp turns and ruts along the edges as it climbs up the mountain, but it is fine as long as you take your time. I am glad we did it in daylight the first time, though.

The hot tub and hot showers are a great addition to a scenic site that’s surrounded by national forest. The property is clean and well maintained, and just a short drive to state parks, hiking, and off-roading.

Fantastic Mountain Retreat!!!

I hate to leave this review because I fear our fantastic experience will just make it harder for us to rent this site in the future. We stayed at the site in our Sprinter Van for 3 nights. The views are simply stunning, the site is spacious and beautifully situated, the hot tub was fantastic and we loved the outside shower! It was also a great lot for our dogs to run and play off leash. This was the perfect spot for us since we felt like we were the only people for miles. In reality, we were close enough to Cashiers if we needed to leave the site - but we didn’t leave! Lee was incredibly responsive and very helpful. We decided to extend our stay for one night and were able to with no hassle. We will be back very soon!.

Beautiful campsite with an amazing of the surrounding cliffs made even better from the hot tub jacuzzi! The provided firewood was a nice touch as well. Would definitely return again. Lee was super easy to communicate with and directions were very clear. Do yourself a favor and go!

This spot is perfect! The super nice hosts meet us at the gate and showed us up their quite steep driveway. If towing i would think you would need 4wd, our camper is 22 ft and we had no problems. The view is just gorgeous and the hot tub was ready to go when we got there, loved not having to wait for it to heat up! The site is almost level but no trouble getting everything setup properly. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I came here for our one year anniversary and we did not regret it! If you’re looking for something VERY out of the way this place is it, there is no one else near the site and it is deep into some gravel roads of the mountains. We loved the using the hot tub during the cold weather and the view from it was just as beautiful as advertised! We’re honored to be the first to stay here, and will be coming back. As the host states the half mile drive was is very steep and has acouple of serious turns but asking aslong as you have the right size camper and a 1/2 ton 4WD it’s not a big deal!

An amazing set up! Grounds were immaculate and incredibly well kept up with up. Instructions to find it were clear, the location was remote but not difficult to find. Views cannot be beat plus the hot tub and outdoor shower were great bonus amenities!
