For the price, you really can’t beat this place! Especially so close to Wilmington and the beach. We expected just a place to pitch our tent and sleep but with the cabin and firepit it turned the night into a really cool little getaway. It’s definitely a unique adventure that is worth the stay.

We stayed at Camp Carlisle expecting just a spot to put a tent. We got so much more. From the stocked pond, to the firepit, to the quaint cabin, we had more than we needed for a reasonable rate. David was accessible by phone and explained the site well. We loved the possibility to go close the gate at night as well.

This listing is not accurate.
There is NO toilet available, like the listing stated. We got in late and had trouble finding the property because the coordinates given were for the wrong address. The "camping" sites available were less than ideal. One of them being too small for our tent and the other on a hill, we took the latter. Also should note that the traffic was really loud and there are junk cars everywhere. We were really disappointed since the photos seemed appealing.
