Nestled along the banks of the majestic Catawba River, our campground offers a unique blend of natural beauty and family heritage, making it a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and adventure. Growing up on my Opa's expansive farm, my family and I have cherished countless memories amidst the creeks, fields, and hills that define this enchanting landscape. My grandparents, Opa Calvin Sr. and Oma Jo Ann, were the epitome of love and support, creating a nurturing environment for my father, Cal Jr., my mother, Lisa, my sister, Carrie, and me, Trey. Together, my father and Opa hand-built the cabin where I spent my childhood, cultivating gardens that would impress even the most seasoned farmers. After retiring from his medical practice, Opa dedicated his days to nurturing this land, instilling in us a deep appreciation for nature and hard work. Our family has enjoyed countless activities on this property, from farming and hiking to camping and swimming in the river. Opa's passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for the farm, where he found peace by the riverfront.
