Staying here changed my life. I’ve been reflecting on my experience for two weeks, telling my friends about this place, planning my return, etc. Skip is a genuine, insightful, kindred soul and he was incredibly accommodating (I arrived after 10pm and he still made time to help me get settled and talk with me), open (he showed me everything on the homestead and talked with me at great length, answering my questions and sharing his experiences with me), and thoughtful (the homestead is designed with care and the access to amenities is perfect).
The land is beautiful! The space is safe and welcoming, and as a black woman traveling solo, this was crucial for me. I left feeling inspired and re-energized. So glad to have found this place and to have made a new friend in Skip.
