Blue Ridge Ranch

This was our 7th stay and we had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Blue Ridge Ranch with our B-Class RV! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making check-in seamless. The site itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to maneuver our RV comfortably. The surroundings are stunning—lush greenery, rolling hills, and serene views that make you feel instantly relaxed and away from the hustle of everyday life. Hookups and amenities were excellent, everything worked perfectly, and it was obvious the park takes pride in its facilities. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made our overnight stay feel like a true mini-getaway. Safety and cleanliness were clearly top priorities, and it felt like the perfect mix of convenience and nature. We left feeling refreshed and impressed, and we will absolutely return. Blue Ridge Ranch is a gem for any RV traveler seeking comfort, beauty, and attentive hosts—highly recommended!

Beautiful land and location.

Blue Ridge Ranch is a real hip camp gem! The only downside is I felt like the price is a little high for not having a 30 amp hook up; but aside from that I can attest to the beautiful property, friendly host, and overall experience. It was very quiet and easy to get to. What I also found really enjoyable was the drive through the rolling foothills, farms, and homesteads between 421 and BR ranch. The proximity to Boone and other natural attractions in the area makes BR ranch a must stay at place. Overall, BR ranch is a 3 thumbs up! :)

The tent sites were nice and spacious. It didnt feel like we were right on top of each other. You had to buy your firewood from them but it was nice that they deliver it to your site for you. Cute little outhouse that was kept very clean and smelled....as nice as you could expect an outhouse to smell. Cedar sawdust was provided to sprinkle after you did your business. ☺️ Very nice people! Tours were offered of their working ranch and the facilities but we didn't get to take one this trip.

My boys (11 & 7) and I had a great time! Sites were very big! Did some fishing at 3 of the ponds. Next time, we will do the farm tour; just didn't have enough time since we only got to spend one night.

My two dogs and I had an amazing time camping at Blue Ridge Ranch. We had a perfect secluded and peaceful spot along the creek, with great Mountain views. Troy provided a tour of the grounds. He provided great history and recommendations of things to see/do. I even got to feed cows, meet some pigs, and hold some newborn piglets. My dogs and I hiked both recommended trails to small serene waterfalls. I highly recommend staying at the ranch!

Great & personal owners operating a grass fed pig (kune kune) and cow farm with some nice on-site camper and tent sites. Primitive campsites have no-bug, zero odor cedar outhouses and water a few hundred feet away. A plumbed toilet bath house available for small $5 feet) with free WiFi at the outpost. Challenging trails and waterfalls on-site and they serve the local community and youth in many ways. Great people and great place to stay!

Beautiful, peaceful and remote. The farm is immaculately clean. The multitude of animals are well taken care of and a great addition. Book the tour to learn what an interesting history the farm has. The host and staff were wonderful. I will be back!

Is a great atmosphere for a family getaway. The owners and staff are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to get truly unplugged and relaxed, I can’t recommend Blue Ridge Ranch enough!

Very friendly hosts, campsite had everything we needed, just no shade and no trees around, so don't bring your hammock and pack a hat and sunscreen! It gets very hot in the tent sites when the sun is up and there is nowhere to escape the sun in that area.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the Blue Ridge Ranch. There is a lot of space between sites 14-16. I had #15, which I thought was the best! It was next to a babbling brook. There is a steep wooded hill across the brook so no one is camping behind you. No artificial lighting allowed for stunning stargazing! There is no shade for those sites, but I was there in April so it was fine for me. The owner/staff was super friendly and delivers firewood to the sites. Shortly after dark it was silent for the entire night and well after sunrise. I am a woman camping alone and I felt extremely safe there. Unfortunately, I had a medical issue arise that prevented me from staying for the tour or my second night. I was disappointed as the land is gorgeous and I wanted to see more of it.

We loved camping on the farm with our dog. The creek was incredibly peaceful and the farm is very well kept. We had everything we needed, even when it was just the owner available. The outhouses are very well built and clean, the farm is easy to get around and our dog had the most fun running around the massive fields.

This was my first camping spot after a road trip. I must say the camp site near the brook was so peaceful. I could not have imagined a more peaceful spot to stay for a couple of days to rest up. The out house was new and smelled of fresh cut cedar. I have done a lot of primitive camping and this was the nicest off grid toilet I have used!!

We went for a short weekend and fell IN LOVE with this place!!!! It is so beautiful no matter where on the property you stay! It’s large with a bunch to do around! Definitely booking a teepee for out next visit! We got to pet pigs and take a tour of all of the gorgeous lakes and ponds! Everything was simply stunning and the owners and workers were incredibly sweet to us! They even let our dogs come on the tour with us!!! We have camped all around the county in a tent, and this was by far the safest we have EVER felt!! Troy was extremely welcoming and so kind!!! You’re missing out if you don’t book this at least once in your lifetime!

Beautiful place to camp! We were by the creek with an amazing view of snow covered mountains. We also loved having hiking trails and were able to see a nice waterfall. Would definitely recommend fir a peaceful stay or to bring a family to!

Did some snow camping at the Blue Ridge Ranch. The host is super friendly - and took the time to make sure I had everything I needed upon check-in. Ample firewood was available and brought to the site. Will definitely return!
