Forested 15 acre lot with a beautiful grassy meadow, and a meandering stream with shallow spots to cool off in on a hot day. We have a meadow by the creek with first come first served tent spots. Pitch your tent anywhere you like and relax the day away. We also offer 6 fully stocked campers and 4 RV sites for rent. Please see each site for all the details! ALL RV/camper sites have FULL hookups with 20/30/50 amp, water and septic. There is fresh drinking water, on site garbage, picnic tables, firepits, firewood for purchase and a well-maintained porta-john. Porta John is only available March 1 - November 1. We are just minutes away from Nantahala Lake, Nantahala River, and the Appalachian Trail. Enjoy nearby white-water rafting, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, kayaking, ziplines and more. If you're not up for cooking there is a local restaurant on the lake 5 minutes away, as well as the Nantahala Outdoor Center a quick 20-minute drive.

Adventure Basecamp #3 is 37 feet long, has a queen master bedroom, bunkhouse with double bunk on bottom and 2 singles up top, bathroom w/shower, sink & toilet, full kitchen, dining table and loveseat. This camper has a regular coffee pot. You will need to bring your own coffee supplies. Outside you’ll find a large picnic table, and fire pit that you can enjoy the beautiful views of the meadow along the creek below. 22" Blackstone Griddle for your use. We sell propane for $8 each. 2 pet limit. There is a pet fee of $29 if you bring your furry friends. Please choose this option at checkout under the extras section. CHILDREN UNDER 3 STAY FREE. PLEASE DO NOT COUNT THEM IN YOUR TOTAL GUESTS. Extra cars can be parked in the parking lot below. No tents allowed at this site. We have tent camping available on our site that you may reserve as well. Please see the rules section for our pet and damage policies.

The hosts were very pleasant and attentive. They have done an amazing job turning this into a beautiful campground. I stayed in #2 right next to the babbling brook. That sound put me to sleep immediately! The only drawbacks are that you get occasional road noise and the campground does not offer privacy between campsites. In the end, I loved the creek and I would love to come back!

Great location and service. Having fresh firewood and eggs on arrival was a big plus, also having WiFi was nice. One downside was that the field used for tent camping is right next to all the rvs, and often those rvs had kids. Unfortunately during the day we often had kids running through our campsite and disturbing the peace even after being told not to. This is not the campsite’s fault, but just something to note if you’re coming on a weekend that it may be something you have to tend with. Overall though we still had a great time and I’d recommend it.

Myself and two others stayed one night ahead of a backpacking trip. The WiFi came in handy and made it easy for us to navigate to our hiking destination the next morning. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The porta potty was exceptionally clean and had motion sensor lights and hand sanitizer. The creek provided a delightful white noise while I slept. Site two is very close to site three where as other sites are more spread out.

Nick and Tja are excellent hosts, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The camp was extremely clean, a beautiful setting. The camper was very homey and stocked with everything needed. The bed was very comfortable. We booked for the proximity to the AT, but will return to explore so much more. We look forward to more visits!

After booking, our host, Tja, was very communicative leading up to our arrival just after dusk. We did not feel comfortable backing up in our space in the dark. Tja, the host, came out to meet us and helped us park and answer any questions we had. Woke up to a clear sunny day to fully appreciate the beauty of the mountainous surroundings. We especially appreciated the brand new 50 amp hookups. They also rent state of the art RVs. Tja and her partner Nick went above and beyond to create a gold standard experience. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the little Vibe at spot #6. The kids were excited to stay in the bunks and the adult bed was large enough for the whole family to hang out in. Camper was in immaculate condition for us, as well as the site and entire camping property. Very easy to locate, not too far from stores either, only about 25 min. We were only able to stay one night but we will be back with friends in 2025! The hosts were amazing and answered every question quickly and Nick met us as soon as we pulled in. Great place to stay!

Before I dive in, please book on their home website instead of Hipcamp. Will be cheaper plus all proceeds go to owners. This is a beautiful place! Sites are very level. We camped in a rooftop tent and the site was comfortable. Sites are a little close but if you’re staying in a camper it’s no big deal. The have an extremely clean port a John in the commons. The commons is the star of the show. It has a creek running through. Hammocks and picnic tables and fire pits. This is a child’s playground! Parents can relax and see the whole yard. 10/10. Campgrounds were also very quiet by 8:00pm ! Loved!!

BRB was perfect for the kids. It’s a small campground and the owners have paid much attention to detail. We rented a camper, and all we really needed to bring was clothing and food. I would have packed lightly if I had known that. The camper was clean and in good condition. The owners are really kind and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

This Hipcamp was exceptional! It isn’t your typical campground - which was exactly what we were looking for. Although there were a few other campers staying, it still felt private and was very serene and peaceful. The pad was large and level, overlooking the meadow, along with a newer picnic table and fire pit. The creek was perfect for our pup to splash around in. The portopotty was newer and very clean. The wifi was fast and always available when we needed it. We really enjoyed talking with the owners and hearing how much time and energy they’ve put into their vision. It’s paying off! They gave some great tips on the area and I loved all of the extras they offer like smores kit, snacks, local eggs - super helpful in a dry county when the grocery store is 20 mins away. Overall excellent stay. We can’t wait to visit again!

The camp hosts, Nicholas and Tja were awesome! They were great to answer all our questions and very quick to respond. We needed to check the air pressure in our tires but didn’t have a pressure gauge. They were so kind to bring us an air compressor and a gauge! Very kind and very sweet people. The RV was super clean and comfortable! A perfect place to get away from all the noise of city life.

We loved our stay at Nicholas and Tja’s property. Everything is exactly as described and the meadow and creek below the campers is amazing. Our 4 yr and 2 yr old could have played in the creek for days! The owners are very kind and responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend staying at Blue Ridge Basecamp.

This site was in a great location. 30 minutes north east there is white water rafting and a lake you can swim at and south of the site there is so many trails. The campgrounds has everything you need and more like a hammock I definitely would recommend this place to anyone
