We have a grass field with river frontage and easy road access available for small group camping. We boast plenty of flat terrain for cars, tents, and trailers. The property is gated from the road to ensure your gear is safe and is adjacent to biker homeowners. From our spot you can easily bike all that North Mills trails have to offer and catch a beautiful cool down in the water at your camp. A couple minute drive down the road gets you to several breweries and Ingles. We have internet access so you can feel both removed yet connected.Our camp is a flat, gated in, grassy area next to the North Mills River. Steps below the field can give you a riverside tent camping experience with one large tent pad, an elevated fort, and fire pit. The site can host up to 12 people and 3 cars/pull behind trailers. Perfect for a biking getaway with trails accessible by the moderate rider if road side camping isn’t your deal or spots in the woods are sparse. The river is usually calm enough for swimming or fly fishing, but we advise you to use caution as the river can get moving after a heavy rain.

Our camp is a flat, gated in, grassy area next to the North Mills River. Steps below the field can give you a riverside tent camping experience with one large tent pad, an elevated fort, and fire pit. The site can host up to 12 people and 3 cars/pull behind trailers. Perfect for a biking getaway with trails accessible by the moderate rider if road side camping isn’t your deal or spots in the woods are sparse. The river is usually calm enough for swimming or fly fishing, but we advise you to use caution as the river can get moving after a heavy rain.

We loved our stay at Biker’s Dream. Very beautiful location while still being relatively close to a local grocery store, gas station, and brewery. Berkely was a great host too!

Biker’s Dream On North Mills River
Very nice open spot accommodate a large group with several tents, with good water access for fishing. Feels very remote, and at the same time an easy drive for groceries, supplies, bathrooms, etc. Hosts were extremely fast and helpful with communicating. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

Biker’s Dream On North Mills River
Beautiful property and excellent host. Really nice river access and grassy area for hanging out. Unfortunately the site is right next to a fairly busy road and it’s very loud and bright (from headlights) at night (on a weekend), which made sleeping in a tent challenging.

Biker’s Dream On North Mills River
Berkeley was an awesome host, and the property sits on a beautiful piece of land. We loved being so close to hiking and biking trails—and having Ingles right down the road made quick trips super easy. Even though we spent most of our time in downtown Asheville or out on the trails, it was great coming back and falling asleep to the sound of the river.

Biker’s Dream On North Mills River
We loved this spot! Beautiful location right on the river with a nice platform for tent and fire pit area. There was a small camp table provided and cornhole set as well. It was awesome to have a shaded location in the trees but also an open meadow for catching fireflies at night. Wonderful little beach area for easy river access and hangout as well. Highly recommend!

Biker’s Dream On North Mills River
If you are looking to access Pisgah, this is the spot. The location is perfect. It's right in the mix for anyone interested in biking, hiking, or fishing. The hosts were 10 out of 10. They communicated well, were kind, and enthusiastic about my having a great experience. I highly recommend it.

Biker’s Dream On North Mills River
I love, and frequent this area. I tried to extend my stay at my usual campsite. It was booked. I found this place on Hip camp and took a chance. I am really glad that I did! Just a nice quiet little spot on a stream. I was close to town, and close to hiking and biking trails. It was a great area for my base camp, and a convenient starting point for my daily adventures. I like it some much that I booked a longer stay

Biker’s Dream On North Mills River
We recently stayed at Biker’s Dream on N. Mills River with our child and had a memorable experience. The campsite is tucked away in a quiet, scenic spot right by the river—ideal for relaxing and spending quality time outdoors. Our child loved playing near the water, and the elevated fort added a fun and unique touch to the site. There’s a good amount of flat space for setting up camp, and the gated entrance gave us peace of mind with a little one running around. The location is also super convenient—just a short drive to local breweries and an Ingles supermarket, which made grabbing supplies easy. This spot is also extremely convenient for bikers and is near many trails. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this spot is a great find. We’d stay here again!
