My sloping hay fields meet up to Town Branch, a small walkable stream, but my long range view view is of Craggy Gardens and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The night sky is dark and the summer brings an evening firefly show. Two miles away is the hiking and waterfalls of Big Ivy in the Pisgah Forest. Easy access to the forest during the day and a comfy, dry, warm bed at night with a hot water outdoor shower! Asheville is a half hour drive away.
