The creekside campsite was so private and peaceful - the creek was lovely to listen to! Also, everything we needed was at the spot, the rock fire ring, buckets to keep water near the fire, and roasting sticks for fireside cooking! There was also plenty of flat land to pitch the tent! And sweet little wildflowers all around! We'd love to come again!

I enjoyed camping on Morgan’s land. The oven was nice, but I didn’t use it. The trampoline hammock was fun. There was a lot of gunfire for an hour or two. You could hear the creek from the fire circle at the campsite. There were yellow trout lilies coming up all over the campsite like a carpet.

Beautiful clearing to stay in! Morgan was very helpful and accommodating to our stay for the week. This was some much needed R&R in a nice private campsite. The water spigots were a big help for our primitive tent camping preferences.

Very private and quite relaxing. Surprisingly remote, considering how close it is to town. A but of a hike down to the creek side camp, but that lends to the privacy.

This is an amazing private site! It's about 300 yards from the parking area, and although I'm used to having my vehicle right at camp, the walk is well worth it. There is a small gurgling stream that runs right beside the space. There is a nice, level tent spot that would have easily accommodated my Gazelle T4, but the many trees around begged for a hammock, and I'd chosen the site specifically for a hammock setup.
Morgan came out when I arrived to answer any last-minute questions, and she was thoughtful enough to message about a thunderstorm warning that came up during my stay. AT&T cell service is spotty at this particular site, if you have another provider, ymmv.
It was nice to wander the creek a little and explore and take a few photos.
All said, I will definitely return and maybe try one of the other site offerings here.

We were looking for a place to stay near Snow Camp for a cob workshop at the nearby Mud Dauber School. This was the perfect place! The campsite was in a lovely, secluded spot near a creek. We had more than enough room for our two tents and really appreciated the big trees when we caught some rain in the morning. Also, the kombucha was great!

Super easy to find (google maps was off, but the directions helped!). Less than 800m from parking, creek crossing was very easy, and there was plenty of firewood. Isolated enough to feel out of the way without needing to hike. Went into Graham the next morning and had a great latte at Cup 22.

We had a great experience. Perfect balance of secluded camp site with some amenities like potable water available closer to the house/parking. The camp site was in a quiet creek bottom. Host was very helpful.

Morgan’s land is so picturesque. She came out to greet us shortly after we arrived and let us explore her place a bit more. There are two campsites and both are perfect, one even has a swing. There are lots of animals around (cats and chickens that we saw). They’re all friendly and were kind neighbors. I would definitely come back and stay next time I’m in the area!

We LOVED staying at Morgan’s campsite. She was incredibly communicative and gave us a rolling cart to borrow for the short walk to the campsite from the parking area that was super helpful! We brought our dogs and had a great time on this peaceful plot of land!

Nice, clean little spot at the confluence of two creeks. The boys loved catching crayfish in the creeks, and you can hear the steam adjacent to the secluded campsite. We had a great nights sleep and the host communicated well. I would recommend packing light for the hike in. Good vibes and nice people at the farm. The boys had a nice Q and A about the chickens, which were resplendent.

Morgan was a helpful and friendly host! Her property is beautiful and relaxing. Was a bit of a hike to our spot, but even the best things in life take a little bit of effort. Very close to the cutest town called Saxapaw. Found good hiking, beer, and a local market with live music on Saturdays. Was a great stay!

I had a great time tent camping with my dog over the Forth of July weekend. It is as close to camping in the middle of nowhere while being close to somewhere! Only a 10 minute drive to small town of Saxapahaw and less than an hour from the Triangle. There is a cart to borrow to help bring your camping gear from the parking spot down to the campsite. While the neighbors are not visible you might occasionally hear them outside, but did not interfere with my relaxation.

Nice camping site next to a creek. A short hike down so be prepared to carry your stuff but the very nice host Morgan let us borrow a cart. Had a great time with my kids making s’mores at the fire pit. Think backcountry camping. It’s a campsite with a fire pit. So if that’s your jam you’ll like it.
