Cory is awesome and it was lovely camping among all the various animals. The camp itself was rustic and not fancy, and that suits me just fine! Had a lovely time. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Cory's place is such a unique and fun spot. I took my 3 young kids here to enjoy the animals (second time) and it doesn't disappoint. They saw animals they've never seen in each life, and the campsite is set back just far enough that it feels private, but is close to the animals and restroom. We had a great time!

So much potential with maintenance
First of all, I would like to say in general, my wife and I had a nice time camping. Pitching a tent and having a few drinks around the campfire at night is always nice. The next day, we also had a great time exploring the Sanctuary and all the variety of animals that are there. The issues we had were just lack of maintenance. I don't think the grass had been cut all year long around the camping area, and we were there in October, so it was pretty tall. Also, the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. There was no light in the men's room, so I used the women's. When I lifted the toilet seat like a gentleman, I instantly regretted it.

Beautiful experience, everything was super cool the animals were super cool to be around. It’s like being behind the scenes, but you still have plenty of privacy. The host was super nice, informative and helpful. It rained a little bit and didn’t affect us at all everything was still good. Overall, a very very cool experience.

Such a great time here! Was super magical and secluded and we loved being able to explore the park privately! Cory and her staff were super welcoming and helpful, loved hearing about how she started it all and seeing all the love she has for her rescued animals. Such a unique experience waking up to jungle noises - will not forget this hidden gem!

I loved camping here! It was amazing to wake up to the sounds of a jungle. It was a nice secluded spot with a canopy, grill, and firepit. I'll definitely be back!

This was really an incredible experience! The campsites are next to a nature sanctuary which you are able to explore once it's closed to the public. There are tons of friendly dogs and cats that spend time with you as you wander. Two cats even stayed at the campsite!
Highly recommend staying here, will definitely be returning

We absolutely loved it! It's such a fun and unique experience to be able to camp in an area with so many different animals. The campsites were easy to access and out of the way of the public areas so there is no worry about someone accidently stumbling upon your stuff. It was so fun to see all the animals, Cory the owner is so sweet and lovely, I couldn't recommend this place more and we will definitely be back.

This place is AWESOME!! Such sweet people who work there, they take their time answering the 1000's of questions the kids had about all the different animals. If you've never been-and you love animals.... THIS is totally worth it!

This is the perfect combination! The sanctuary itself is amazing, with many many animals to interact with! Whether it’s the exotics from all over the world, or the more common pets and farm animals, there is plenty of opportunity to make friends and learn something! An extra benefit to camping is access to the park outside of normal hours. Highly recommend and this will definitely not be our only visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Hipcamp site! It truly felt like we were behind the scenes of a real zoo — such a unique and magical experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Cory was kind, and her hospitality stood out. Her dogs and cats were the perfect added touch — friendly, fun, and full of personality. You can tell the animals are well-loved and part of the family, which made the whole stay even more special. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved getting to camp on Cory’s Property. The animals are so cute and so cool to see! I also enjoyed the welcoming committee of a sweet little cat who came to hang out with me at night and also came to wake me up! The grass on the site was a little overgrown, but nothing too bad. If you want a very unique experience camping, I would definitely recommend going to see Cory!

Absolutely amazing experience! The campsite is behind the animal sanctuary and basically just against the woods, but it provided a lot of privacy just know that it’s not built up very much! Hearing the animals making noises all night was absolutely wonderful and Corey was such a kind host when we couldn’t make it there between checkout times. Waking up and being able to wander around and meet all the creatures was so fun. I would 10/10 recommend this experience!!

Tent camping at the sanctuary was a super cool experience. Cory and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. All nine dogs are very sweet as well.

Cory is a very welcoming host, and we had a wonderful experience visiting. We loved seeing all of the animals, which are very well cared for.
I highly recommend this place for day trips and overnight camping.
It's important to note that young children should be strictly supervised around the animals. Some animals can be easily agitated, while others are very tame. Safety is a priority here.
The animals on the premises range from domestic species, such as cats, dogs, and birds, to exotic ones. They have a wide variety, including mammals, fish, reptiles, nocturnal animals, and farm animals.

I brought my 4 yr old camping here for a night. We spent the morning exploring all the different animals in the property. There was a little swingset and tree house that he played on a few times. While we were camping we were visited by a couple of cats that came to hang out. We brought our own firewood, but there was also a pile of collected wood debris that we used to supplement. Overall we had a memorable experience.

Run!!! Do not walk to snag a campsite from Cory at this hip camp. Experience like no other. This place is awesome during the day and well worth the price of admission just to see all the animals but the experience is magical at night. It's just you, Cory (who is amazing), and the animals. Cory gave us access to grounds the whole stay to enjoy seeing all the animals. We got to enjoy learning and seeing anteater and got to hand feed a sloth. You can tell that this place is truly Cory and the rest of the staffs passion and every animal is truly loved and cared for. It was truly an experience like no other and I cannot recommend this place enough if your and animal lover.

I had such a wonderful time at Cory’s place. The camping a lot was perfect! Far enough away to be in own bubble but close enough to hear the sounds of nature and the animals.

Magical experience- we have three children : 7,9,11 years old. The animal sanctuary was a peaceful exposure to humanity caring for the ones who need caring the most: animals who have been displaced. There is a conservation approach to the care of these animals from primates to small and large mammals.
Camo the cat stole the show w her unfettered affection all night long.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful! Cory was a kind host, so giving of herself. I would recommend this overnight experience to anyone.

If you have kids that absolutely love animals this is the place to go! On the weekend there is a lake 12 minutes away to swim in! It’s worth every penny!! The animals are incredibly friendly and the staff is informative. The owner, Cory, is an amazing person with a ton to share with the public. The free roaming animals like to be interacted with which is a blast. The campsite is right behind the animals. At night you can hear the birds singing which makes you feel like you’re camping in the rain forest by their songs. The amenities are nice as well. I plan on visiting with my family again.
