Learn more about this land: Alpine’s Farm located in Lincoln County, approx 35 minutes outside of Charlotte is a 200+ acre farm. The property boasts great views, 3+ miles of trails in varying configurations and difficulty, picnic tables, fire pits and Lincoln County history. The Monument Site is where American Pioneer, Peter Finger who immigrated to the United States in 1749 is buried. The Creek Site is a .5 mile creekside walk to the Madison Iron Furnace. which operated from the late 1700’s til the late 1800’s making “pig” iron. The Creek Site is located on Leeper’s Creek one of the main tributaries to the South Fork of The Catawba River.

    Down By The Creek
    Joe was great! He led us down to the site when we arrived, told us little tips and tricks for the area and really made us feel welcomed. The site was secluded and perfect for our trip. My dog had all the fun running the area and getting in the creek. Can’t wait to return!

    Alpine’s Farm
    We stayed at the Monument site. Really cool spot! We were going to go hiking at South State Park, but ended up just hanging out next to the campfire the whole time. The farm is a must checkout. And everyone is really nice. The site itself has trees for enos. It is fairly close to the road.
