(Solar camp shower coming soon) Where to eat and what to do? • 5 miles from Leland, NC restaurants and grocery stores - please inquire for a list of recommendations (Leland has some gems!!!) • 11 miles from the USS North Carolina Battleship • 12 miles from Historic downtown Wilmington and even more fine dining options. Choose your own beach adventure! We are an equal distance from the best beaches in New Hanover and Brunswick county, NC • 22 miles from Wrightsville Beach (New Hanover) • 22 miles from Oak Island (Brunswick) • 18 miles from Southport. (Brunswick) • 18 miles from historic Moore’s Creek National Battlefield - the site of the first victory of the Revolutionary War. • 61 miles from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (1hr 15min drive) We keep the 2-acre open field mowed and clear for dispersed camping, with options for full sun, or partial shade for those warm afternoons. Park your RV, or pitch your own tent on level ground and enjoy water access for your personal canoe or kayak (at your own risk.) On site leisure activities: Horseshoes (disc golf on request) fresh water catch and release fishing. Come enjoy primitive Eastern NC camping at its finest - pack it in/pack it out applies for our guests. Again, we do have a trash bin on site. Easy Access off US 17 Benson Road NE. A privately maintained Dirt Road located off Zion Church Road - driving through the grass is also an option if you don’t feel comfortable driving the dirt road.

Benson Road NE is a Dirt Road located off Zion Church Road. Open 3 acre field we keep tidy and mowed regularly. Choose your own site. We do offer fire rings (when burn ban not in effect) and occasionally have firewood available from the property water access to town. Creek is conveniently close and we have a communal Porta potty.

The Bell Tent site at Tranquil Town Creek is set up in a cozy flat portion of the property offering shade, seclusion and convenient access to the communal gazebo, porta potty and water access to Town Creek. Cast a line straight off the dock! Enjoy camping in style in this waterproof 10 foot Whiteduck Outdoors Bell Tent that sleeps 3 people comfortably. All you need is to bring your own sleeping system(s) and enjoy the tranquility of town creek! Two disc golf baskets set up on property with a horseshoe pit within 100 feet of the bell tent. A fire pit is out front from the tent for small fires perfect for warmth and outdoor cooking. Site also includes two tiki torches with big repellent fluid for added vibes and comfort. On site meals offered upon request from our camp host and kayak rentals also available upon request. Again, guests will need to bring your own bed, bedding, cooking stove, cooler, water/beverages, chairs and firewood. Bell tent can fit up to queen size air mattress with room for two additional twin size cots/ air mattresses and or up to 3 twin size cots or air mattresses.

This was a great place to take my kids to for a quick stop near the beach/Wilmington. We enjoyed fishing and getting to play horseshoes together. The land manager was extremely accommodating and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return.

Great spot to chill and not fight the beach crowd. Easy to access. Level ground. Creek to jump in. Plenty of sun for the solar panels (if you want it). Get a tie die shirt from Donny, he’s awesome!

We loved staying here so much we wound up booking an extra week! The host Donnie treated us like family and made us feel so welcomed. This spot is only 5-10 minutes to Leland, 15 minutes to downtown Wilmington, and 30 mins to the beach. We will definitely be coming back to stay here, it’s a true gem.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The host (Donnie) was the nicest guy you could imagine and really made us feel like family. The creek is really big and great for kayaking. There are several disc golf goals that are free to play on the property, a great fire pit, and Donnie sells awesome tie dye shirts! This place is located in a great spot as well. 5-10 minutes from Leland area stuff, about 12 minutes to downtown Wilmington, and around 30 minutes to Wrightsville beach. When you arrive at the property, you’ll see a shed to your right in the field. Just park anywhere to the right of the shed. Ignore the picnic table comment in the description.

This place is so fun! The caretaker (Donnie) is so friendly and made us feel like family during our stay. The creek is big and there are kayaks to use on site for a fun day on the water. There are disc golf baskets on the property as well. The location of the site is great and is close enough to Wilmington and the surrounding beaches to easily explore everything. Donnie also makes awesome tie dye shirts for purchase. When arriving to the property, it mentions that there is a picnic table but that is incorrect. The field on the right is all available for parking along the tree line. Overall, we had an amazing stay here and can’t wait to come back. Definitely recommend!

Donny, the camp guide was the best, super welcoming interesting guy, lots of genuine conversation and good fire pit action. We went kayaking curtesy of Donny and all. He even gave us some pasta !

An absolutely killer spot! The greenskeeper Donnie was amazing! Had the grill going every night serving up delicious food and making sure everyone is taken care of. Also a few disc golf baskets and kayaking on a natural calm river for activities. Would absolutely recommend this place the experience was great!

Property and caretaker were both phenomenal taking us in and making us feel at home on short notice. Convenient location to both Wilmington and the beach. A nice, spacious area for tent/RV sites with available disc golf baskets for fun! Evenings were quiet and relaxing around the campfire (the fresh wood was much appreciated). The port-a-pot was very clean. Look forward to taking advantage of water access that borders the camp next time down. Thanks for having us!

We loved camping at George’s site! Property manager called ahead of our check in to give us details on all they had to offer, set up, and tips for the property. He even went out before us to drop off tiki torches and set up the firepit. Campsite was clean and mowed. Porta potty was a huge plus and looked brand new. Trash can provided was great for cleanup. Along with the long stretch of land perfect to throw a football, set up your site or run with your dog, there’s a creek right across the sand path with chairs setup ready for your morning coffee/tea. Not too far from stores if you’ve got kids or pets but land feels like you’re at a further getaway. So happy we found this spot to camp at with our friends and our dogs and grateful for the great communication with owners/management.

Absolutely amazing stay here, the host is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. There’s a few disc golf baskets on the property to throw discs at and a beautiful creek. The host even made us some pancakes in the morning. We had a great time!
