I can't speak for what a festival might be like at this camp, I only stayed there to attend a concert at Beak and Skiff. With that said, this is not your place to camp in the region for any other reason but one of their own festivals, maybe. First, it's expensive at $70 per night. Second, it's a bad value. For that cost you are placed on the edge of a large grass field, their festival parking lot. There is no access up a water pump without driving, no picnic table, no fire ring, and no shade. The location is convenient to beak and skiff and the general region, but they need open up their "premium sites" to regular weekend campers at the $70 a night price they seek. Bottom line: I would absolutely not stay again. I would spend my money on a hotel and save the camping for a different outing.

If you are looking for solitude and a scenic spot in the woods, this ain’t it. It’s more set up for events, either the ones at Beak and Skiff or their own. It’s basically a field surrounded by woods and they keep the ones along the woods for tent campers. We had tent neighbors who partied loud and hard until 3.

We loved camping at Wonderland Forest. Super easy getting in. Andrew met us upon arrival and took us to our campsite, where we were really able to choose our favorite spot. There was plenty of nice flat ground, and wonderful tree line spots. We were going to a show at Beak & Skiff, so this spot being only 8 mins away, was a huge plus. We hope to come up for one of the concerts at Wonderland forest!

The overall experience was nice. We didn’t expect it to be an open field- we were thinking more of a campsite. We still had a great set up. Happy it was not crowded.
We were not provided a fire ring which was a bummer. We had asked Andrew to bring one. Thankful my husband is prepared and we still had a fire in a pot:).
Beautiful, green open space. Clean port a potty’s , great communication prior to checking in.
Perfect for seeing a show at beak n skiff and staying over after.

Real nice people running the place.
Greeted upon entrance and drive to my spot up on the mountain.
Hopefully they get this place on the music map and keep it there for future shows and events.

I loved my short but perfect stay in Wonderland! The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and my campsite was everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t: simple, flat, private, and with the lovely sounds of rushing water nearby. Since it was the off-season (and cold!), I was allowed to build a small campfire, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this beautiful property and kind hosts! They have a great vision for this place.

This place was great. It had the feel of an old school campground. Lots of places to pitch a tent and the showers/bathrooms were very clean. It’s was very dark at night and sleeping was calming with the sounds of frogs by the pond.
My only suggestion to the campground is to design a map of the campground. I did find it tricky to determine what was a campsite and where the trail went/ended. With a map I would’ve definitely explored more of the park.

Great place but 40 dollars per person for any campsite is too much. I could see 40 per car. But otherwise beautiful property and a good option for concerts in the apple valley.

The hosts were super friendly, description of campground not entirely accurate. Hosts said we could have private fires at camp site, and drive up to site. Really cool property, ask the hosts if you can't find the trails.

Cons:
1. I filtered specifically for flush toilets and potable water, and chose this site for this reason, both of which were not available when arriving. There was no communication from the Host to tell us this prior to arriving, and upon arrival we still were not told until one of our party had to use the bathroom (after we had already set up camp near what we thought would be bathrooms). We were then told through text that there was an outhouse available near the Pavillion, a long walk from where we had set up. There was no map given, and when we found the outhouse, it was in no way clean - spider webs and dirt on the toilet paper which had clearly been chewed by mice, and dirt (I hope) all over the seat. No apologies from the Host that the listing was inaccurate. Denied refund when requested.
2. If you need an Uber, it's very difficult to get
3. There was what sounded like loud ATVs or dirt bikes racing all night (3:30am) and people could be heard arguing. Other than that, there were a lot of loud bird/insect noises all night, though that isn't a big deal because hey, you are camping, but some people might wonder.
4. Very little guidance on navigating the property and sights to see. "Check in" consisted of talking to a man in a passing truck pointing us down a road, never to find him again.
Pros:
1. Seemed like it has the potential to be a good time if nothing goes wrong
2. Very close to Beak and Skiff

Campsite advertised to have facilities like a bathroom. However, we were placed in a field over a mile away from any facilities. $80 for a place to put a tent down for one night with no amenities at all. The actual camp was locked up.

So private and serene. Lots of walking/hiking trails. Sites are very dispersed throughout the property. Very spread out and lots of privacy. Owner was welcoming and friendly. He showed us around his property on his side-by-side. We camped there in the late fall with a very small tow-behind. Most sites accommodate tents, although our spot was a prime spot (very flat and level) and perfect for all our needs. Camping in privacy and enjoying true nature is what we prefer and this did not disappoint. We look forward to returning in the spring.

I loved camping in a tent at Wonderland Forest.
We didn’t explore the farm, because started rain. We stayed near the bathroom/shower and was very clean. The only thing I expecting was more people camping there, but my group was the only ones.

Beautiful! Massive property. Laid back check-in and out. Perfect for tent camping in western new york! Had an amazing hike down to the falls and an amazing, although brief, trip! Can't wait to come back. Literally the perfect venue for a family reunion, birthday camping trip, anything! Special shout out to Andy who guided us when we missed the check-in time and went above and beyond to offer us a tour of the property. His kindness should be recognized:)

I enjoyed my time at wonderland forest. I loved having our own portable potty, and the fact that each site on the mountain was about an acre was absolutely amazing. I would love to see a dedicated trail that connects to the music venue for those adventurous folks that like the added exercise
