30 Amp FHU - Back In - 50ft

Nice place. Quiet. Sites are narrow. Overall at this point not a bad place. They did charge me twice for my stay still waiting to see if they refund one of them.

30 Amp FHU - Pull Thru - 65ft

Easy access! Nice gravel and grass site! Bath house was very near to the site and we had a partial view of the lake!

Tent Site

No host in sight

It was fine but the host was nowhere to be found. So I just designated the tent site for myself. That was a bit weird. Otherwise it’s good

30 Amp FHU - Back In - 50ft

Great Location, but....

Great views of Lake Ontario and very friendly owner residents and seasonal residents. Office closes early and current management offers little to no support after hours. Office location wasn't immediately obvious and Camp host was non-existent. I was able to get the information and help I needed from the residents. This is not my typical HipCamp experience and I dont feel this property really belongs on HipCamp at all. If you are not in an RV, this is probably not the place for you. There are a few tents sites (with power) that I eventually moved to, but was assigned (after booking) an RV site. I moved without permission as there was no one from management to ask. Its a beautiful area with such potential but very poorly managed. The resident were also eager to share their frustrations and dismay at the decline of the property. For me, it just isnt HipCamp appropriate!

Disappointed at best

When we arrived, nobody was in the office and no instructions were left. We were not assigned a site, so one of the seasonal gentlemen showed us the available sites and said we could pick one. The same gentleman was doing yard work and said he was sick of the place looking like a mess so he took it upon himself to do upkeep on the grounds. He said they’ve been through 3 managers since the season began. The swimming space was not really a swimming space - certainly not a beach. Lackluster grounds. We won’t be back. The people weee kind. It appears they’re working on improvements- but they have a ways to go.

Tent Site

Would recommend

Easy access, lots of people around but not noisy. The lake is right there. Swimming is available. I only spent one night there but it was exactly what I needed. Felt safe and comfortable
