While the host mentioned deep in the post, that you will “hear” traffic….. it was VERY LOUD. and very irritating. All night with semi trucks and their jake brakes. I finally put my earbuds in and started playing nature sounds. This was in October so nearly every square foot of the lot was covered with walnuts making walking difficult and dangerous..”twisted ankle city” when I opened the door to the outhouse was loaded with thick spider webs, thankfully I did not have to use it. I expect to see poison ivy in the woods but not in the middle of my hosted campsite…. right between the picnic table and the fire pit. I feel there is more to hosting on hip camp than brush hogging a spot down by the highway intersection and forgetting about it. Update the photos because it doesn’t look that good anymore. If I ever book this place again, it’ll be by accident.

We just needed a spot for a quick over night stay north of Letchworth ST park. This site worked great for us. I do recommend backing in if your pulling a trailer. We backed our teardrop in, lit a fire, then slept the night away.
The site is located near a very busy road that still had quite a bit of traffic through the night. It did not bug me but if your a light sleeper on in a tent you will probably hear it.

Was afraid the rain was going to cancel our trip, host was very communicative on the weather in the area and how it was affecting the site. After a full day of heavy rain the site was fairly dry and we were left with dry firewood and were able to enjoy the night. Perfect spot for my truck bed camper, the cars passing by were far enough away it was perfectly therapeutic. Will definitely be using this site for another weekend getaway!

The site served our needs for an overnight stop on the way to Michigan from Maine but I don’t think I’d want to stay longer than a night. It is very private, but as was expected and is noted in the description, very noisy from road behind the site. It is also very heavily wooded and the site doesn’t get much sun so it’s more weeds rather than grass. We had three dogs with us so it was nice to walk on the road the site is on when we got there. That is not as busy as the one behind it. Added on 2 bundles of wood which was a good amount.

The traffic noise was louder than expected and the site seemed overgrown compared to the pictures. However it was secluded from the street visually which was nice. For a quick overnight stay (which is what we needed), it was fine and the picnic table and fire pit were nice because we didn’t need to bring out our table and chairs.

We (my friends) like the camping place and it was perfect place for us to hang out cause we were so loud and there were no one around us. Also owner was so friendly and if u buy woods 🪵 u get more woods than other camping places. Definitely going in the future in same place.

Me and my friends had a wonderful time camping at Thomas’s site! It was very private and had all the amenities needed for a simple camping adventure! Would highly recommend and will definitely come back next time I’m around the area! Only thing that I would note is that the site is near two roads that are somewhat busy, but this didn’t take away from our experience at all!

Besides not being there to meet me the site was nice, the pit toilet was clean BUT with all the road traffic I could not get to sleep. That site is way too close to a major roadway. AND it was way over priced. Should be more like $15 as there is a campground not too too far away with all amenities for $34/night. Good luck to you.
