This was a great site! We would definitely come back. Nice and private. Being able to walk around the farm and pond and see the animals was cool.

Spend the weekend tent camping with a few friends. Rick was awesome, very friendly and helpful. We purchased firewood ahead of time and it was keep dry for us (it rained the entire weekend). The pond side site was surprisingly dry considering all the rain. We purchased some lamb on our second day and Rick brought it right to us and it was delicious! This is our second time here, and we will be back next year! Absolutely beautiful area and great hosts.

We love camping here. The sites are very spread out so it feels private. Behind the hillside spot there are gorgeous rolling fields that are dream-like in the morning mist.

The tent was very comfortable! They provided a fire pit and charcoal grill, we used both. Canoe rides on the beautiful pond were amazing! Rick was an awesome host and tended to our every need. Thank you Rick!

My son and I were looking for an alternative to one of the state campgrounds while visiting my daughter in Ithaca. We sure did find it! You can drive up to and park right at the site to the remote spot without having to pack in. As others have said, you don’t even notice other campers there as you are far enough apart with no direct line of site. The composting toilet is continently located, yet hidden out of the way. At night from the top of the Hilltop Campsite we had a perfect unobstructed view of a meteor shower. During the day, we used the provided canoe and had a great time fishing the pond catching and releasing many bass. (Life jackets were available in different sizes). We highly enjoyed our visit and look to return again in the future.

Quiet location next to sheep pastures with a picnic table, fire pit, and bench. I had a wonderful undisturbed night and woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the fields. I very much liked having sheep for neighbors instead of someone slamming RV doors like at most state campgrounds!

This was a great experience. The fishing is amazing. You feel far from the world but close to the village for anything you forget. Rick and his family were super sweet and helpful. We had the Pond Side Bell Tent and it is very spacious and in a great spot. We brought out Boxer and we loved going on hikes and exploring with her. We will definitely be back.

Pondside Campsite
This campsite is beautiful and quiet! Conveniently located about 25 min from Ithaca and an hour from Watkins glen! There’s also access to Dryden Rail trail a few minutes away from camp which is absolutely beautiful! Campsite was shady and felt very private despite having other campers there. Shower is a spigot with a shower head connected behind a wood pallet, may be rustic for some people, but did the job and was refreshing in the summer weather. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area!

The property and Tiny House were wonderful. It was peaceful and had everything that we needed. I would recommend to anyone that wants to feel like camping, but with all the amenities of a home.

This is a beautiful site. Everything you need is nearby (toilet, water and shower). The pre-set tent is big and can fit a family of 4. We also set up a separate tent for our kids. Plenty of open and shaded space. We enjoy spending few hours next to the pond for sunset. Rick respond questions quickly. Overall a good experience.

Rick is a very friendly host, and we loved the location. The tent is large enough for an airbed or cot (which we brought for our daughter), we enjoyed the feeling of being away from other people while also knowing we weren't actually alone.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay the entire time. And unexpected storm and tornado warning spooked the kids and we ended up packing up early. Rick was very accommodating throughout our stay and we'd definitely come back again...either without the kids or when they're older 😂

I loved staying at the tiny house at Underhill. Its a great place to relax, fish and hear sheep in the distance. I love coming to this spot when I am in the area. The house has everything you need; hot plate, coffee pot, little fridge and a very comfortable bed.

Such a peaceful campsite. It’s something you wouldn’t get at a large commercial campground. The blueberry patches and listening to the chicken in the morning made it a unique experience.

The Pond Side Bell Tent was really amazing. We canoed and swam in the beautiful pond, picked blueberries, pet a friendly sheep, and had an amazing campfire. Could not ask for better, would recommend to everyone.

We loved camping on Rick's land, it was beautiful and spacious. There were several other people tent camping near by, everyone had plenty of privacy.
Wood was delivered to our site and the compost toilet was only a few steps away.

Loved the site and tent that we stayed at over the Jul 4 weekend. The site is shaded under a lot of trees which was nice as it was a hot and humid weekend. The pond nearby was nice to fish and I caught a few largemouth bass there as well. In the evening there were lots of fireflies. Overall loved the site as it was super secluded and felt very private. Rick even stopped by our site and gave us some homemade blueberry jam!
