Located in the foothills of the Catskills, our campsite is a safe and private place in the woods with nearby access to world-class hiking, fly fishing, rock climbing, and more. There are tons of great food and drink options within 10-20 minutes, and much more to explore in the area. Once you've got your fun in for the day, come back and swim and relax by the private lake, build a bonfire, and enjoy your stay! The campsite has a platform for one tent, but plenty of ground space for more tents, a picnic table, fire ring, and outhouse. It's on the edge of a field against a tree line. It's about a 10 minute walk from the main house so it has plenty of privacy. Walk a couple minutes down to the lake where there's a dock and canoe to hang out on and a bigger firepit with a lean-to you're welcome to use during your stay. The property is 164 acres with some mowed paths we encourage you to explore. The road is a little rough but I've been able to drive to the campsite in my Prius. There is a small dog that lives in the house that will probably come say hi at some point and ask for belly rubs. The campsite has a platform for one tent, but plenty of ground space for more tents, a picnic table, fire ring, and outhouse. My favourite place on HipCamp. Immediately tried to book to come back and saw they are booked up for all upcoming weekends which doesn’t surprise me. Beautiful property, beautiful lake, very well kept outhouse, very friendly host. Thank you!

Such a great place, clean & private. The property is huge! We camped for three days, and enjoyed the lake. We had a phenomenal time here and the location was prime for exploring nearby trails & waterfalls.

We loved Tyler’s private camping spot! The clearing in the trees allows for some great sun, the platform was perfect for a nights sleep in the tent, and fire pit perfect for a fire. Tyler even dropped off some wood for us to use throughout our trip. The cherry on top is the big, clean private pond on the property available to use - perfect for cooling off. The camp site is pretty far from the house to feel really private while still being able to drive your car in for super easy car camping. We used Tyler’s spot as home base for some hiking in the area and visits to a few breweries - Arrowood farms is a favorite. As with anywhere in the Catskills watch out for ticks and note some car noise, but again expected with such an easy access (though still secluded) site. Thanks Tyler for the great hospitality!

Lovely spot, terrific host
Such a lovely spot! It’s beautiful and very well maintained. The camping area is in the midst of a large property so there is plenty of privacy, room to roam, and room for a larger group than just our small family. The sawdust toilet is very clean (and 0 smell even at the very height of summer). The lake was lovely and cool — it’s not terribly deep but you can jump right off the dock (as both the humans and dog did). There are some chairs and a few floaties to use as well. We also used the canoe and saw two beavers doing their thing at twilight and caught and released a few fish from it too. Tyler was an awesome host - responsive and generous and he sells some very well seasoned firewood for 5 a bundle. Will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were a group of 7 had more than enough space for our tents and our 3 dogs. The lake was awesome and we all loved being able to go out on the canoe, float and swim in the water. Tyler was very nice and accommodating during our stay!

Clean, quiet and secluded camping.
Great overnight camp at Treeline. We came prepared but Tyler was great, reaching out to us to see if we needed anything. I appreciate that. Clean, quiet, secluded, well thought out campsite, perfect for my tent and friend’s Camper. The lake and property is stunning! We spent some time hanging out on the dock, feet in the water, cold drink in hand and wishing time could stand still. Will surely book again, when I’m up that way. Thanks, Tyler!
