Nice site, open but shade from the afternoon so the tent can cool down.
Outhouse is clean, even kids had no complaints.
Lake is small but great. It's a little mucky on the lake bed so bring shoes.

Tyler's campground is really beautiful and very spacious! The lake is its biggest draw! My kids and I had the best time swimming and boating in the water! I don't know if this is normal for the mountains, but I did find a number of ticks on my kids during and after the trip. Otherwise, our trip was delightful and the big open space is great for kids to run around! Very well maintained and clean!

Great camping!
Great, secluded place in the woods, you can hear the water streaming in the lake. Just perfect!

My favourite place on HipCamp. Immediately tried to book to come back and saw they are booked up for all upcoming weekends which doesn’t surprise me. Beautiful property, beautiful lake, very well kept outhouse, very friendly host. Thank you!

Such a great place, clean & private. The property is huge! We camped for three days, and enjoyed the lake. We had a phenomenal time here and the location was prime for exploring nearby trails & waterfalls.

We loved Tyler’s private camping spot! The clearing in the trees allows for some great sun, the platform was perfect for a nights sleep in the tent, and fire pit perfect for a fire. Tyler even dropped off some wood for us to use throughout our trip. The cherry on top is the big, clean private pond on the property available to use - perfect for cooling off. The camp site is pretty far from the house to feel really private while still being able to drive your car in for super easy car camping. We used Tyler’s spot as home base for some hiking in the area and visits to a few breweries - Arrowood farms is a favorite. As with anywhere in the Catskills watch out for ticks and note some car noise, but again expected with such an easy access (though still secluded) site. Thanks Tyler for the great hospitality!
