it was a wonderful experience, the cabin has all you may need, it is a perfect place to disconnect from everything and connect with your inner you, you can find some nice trails to hike with amazing views.

This is a unique and fun place. So many well thought out spaces. We especially loved the home made chairs around the fire pit and the outdoor kitchen.

The property is adorable and has exactly everything you need for a weekend away. Masen is very welcoming and showed us how everything works and responded to additional questions very quickly. The wood fired hot tub is amazing you simply have to get the unlimited firewood bundle. The tiki torch package is also super worth it. Placing them all around the site just makes the campsite 10X cozier. The record selection was also fantastic and we had so much fun listening inside and outside. My dog also loved it and said it gets 5 stars from him. 10/10 would stay again.

Masen's property was an amazing place to stay. The cabin is just perfect -- impressive craftsmanship, great use of space, and cozy enough for our family of 5. The records were fantastic, and porch speakers let you hear the music outside. The hot tub was so much fun to use (definitely get the firewood package when you book). The kids loved exploring the property, searching for fairy houses (and building some of their own). The outhouse was adorable! My kids hate using pit toilets but had no issues with this outhouse - it was lovely inside. Masen was a wonderful host, and provided everything we needed (water, fire starters, torches). We will be back!

From NOFX to Lynyrd Skynyrd, listening to all of the albums on the record player was a dream! While we did go on an excursion to the Catskills, we could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves foreverrrr. Not only does the nature and cabin provide the most amazing backdrop for a getaway, but the Rio Dam, Hawks Nest Lookout, and Point Jarvis attractions are minutes away! Our two dogs LOVED the privacy of the spot, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and that bed was soooooo comfy! With the added perks of endless firewood and tiki lights, our stay on Masen's land was truly magical! Thank you for taking such good care of us!!

My partner and I came to the Record Room to celebrate my graduation and our 2 year anniversary and we never wanted to leave. Masen and his family have created a very special place. We listened to music nonstop, poked around the surrounding woods, and soaked in the wood fire hot tub. It was truly the perfect place to celebrate and unplug for the weekend!

The cabin was very cozy well-made and interesting to look at. The record collection included a lot of classic rock, classical jazz all the way to modern hip-hop. The wood powered hot tub took a little bit to get going, but was a highlight. There’s plenty of beautiful sites nearby to see but the land it’s on was so beautiful. There was really no need to leave. Only con for me was no shower but we were able to wash up using the water from the hot tub (which is drained and refilled for each guest)

This was by far the best camping trip I have been on. I’ve done it all from backpacking to glamping and this was perfectly in the middle. A perfect spot for my 16 month olds first trip to the woods. The cabin and surrounding spaces were so beautiful and all the details were mind blowing. You can tell it is all hand built. The kitchen was such a great touch and my favorite part. It is nicely secluded and the hosts were so friendly. We actually wish we saw them more because they were so awesome! We got in on a chilly rainy day and Masen had the fire inside and the tub filled and warming up for us already. Very thoughtful and caring about their guests. We couldn’t have asked for more honestly. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for your hospitality Raymonds.

This place is truly awesome. This cabin has everything you need for a restorative time away - cooking area with easy to use cooktop/grill/burners, plenty of seating for stargazing, gorgeous forest, and the record player with speakers inside and out was magical. We had an amazing time lounging, reading, making food, and our dog had a blast exploring the forest. Masen was on top of everything, we really appreciated that he cut and brought us some fresh firewood since we arrived after sundown before we could get our bearings on the land. He was also so great and helpful at replenishing our water when we asked. We will absolutely be back!

This place is truly amazing! The cozy cabin, wood fired hot tub, outdoor kitchen and surrounding forrest made for a peaceful and fun getaway from the city. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to recharge, relax and listening to a bunch of dope records!

The Record Room was truly amazing. We liked it so much we had to stay another day! There are some great hiking spots in the area, easy and efficient kitchen setup outside, the outhouse is clean, they have a diverse and groovy record collection, the hot tub is hot lol! Can’t say enough good about the record room. We might stay again!

Great location! Very private and relaxing. Highlights include a wood-burning hot tub, cozy cabin, proximity to nearby shops, a nice outdoor kitchen setup, and a clean outhouse. We were provided a small generator to power the record player and provide electricity to the cabin - the host explained due to the weather the solar panels did not have the chance to charge the battery. Helpful hints: bring battery- or solar-powered light sources (e.g. lanterns, headlamps, etc.), try to keep the doors closed to keep out the flies and other bugs, no refrigerator so all refrigerated food will need to be stored with ice in the provided cooler, and download offline maps for the area (cell service is non-existent on location). Simple cabin in a great region, perfect for a getaway.

We celebrated our anniversary here & we loved it. everyone was super nice & we had so much fun. Cabin and surrounding land is gorgeous. We signed up for Viking chair building as well which was informative and we enjoyed it very much! Overall would definetely recommend.

We had an absolute blast at The Record Room. Masen was a gracious host and my boys and I had an amazing time! It was peaceful and cozy. The wood fired hot tub was such a unique experience and enjoyed throughout the weekend. The outdoor kitchen is incredible and has everything needed to cook just about any meal. My boys and I bonded by cooking together, hiking, talking around the campfire and we were able to connect and have some much needed down time. We hiked, spotted deer, hummingbirds, frogs, hawks and chipmunks. The record collection and stereo system are awesome. We played records all day/night. Just a beautiful spot, and we can’t wait to get back! Thank you Masen, you have a truly special place!

LOVED, loved, loved The Record Room! It was a great place for our granddaughter's first camping experience in a cabin. The cabin and grounds are artfully created with lots of beautiful and interesting details. Plenty of lights to get around at night and find the outhouse (which I'd scored 10 out of 10). The cabin itself is clean, dry and warm and beautifully designed. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed. We spent lots of family time making s'mores by the campfire, hiking on nearby trails, swinging in the hammock we brought and -- playing records!! Great to have outdoor speakers so we could blast Bruce, REO Speedwagon or Queen with seemingly hundreds of albums to choose from. Also Masen, the young proprietor, business major and recent graduate, was the perfect host -- he was "on it" and helped us at every turn. The highlight of our trip was building a 'Fairy House' in the woods with our six year old granddaughter. A trip full of joy! Would definitely reserve and camp here again!

Of all the hipcamps & similar sites we've ever had, theThe Record Room was surely our Top Pick. I knew this one was special when it caught my eye like 420 times as I browsed for a cool place
to get away from the Unreal world, into the Real One. It's exactly what we wanted & needed.
Masen was an exceptionally kind and helpful Host, always quick to respond to our questions, or connect us with Dennis or Tess, who were also so hospitable & attentive... & very cool to chat with.
We didn't mind that it mostly rained on/off during our stay. We especially loved it at night, which made it hard to leave the comfy bed in this beautifully-simple-but-oh-so-perfectly, cozy, dry & STURDY cabin - that's now our favorite of any, so far.
The Craftsmanship of EVERYTHING left us enchanted beyond our wildest expectations. For those who appreciate the Art/Beauty of Wood AND would like the thrill of hearing Zeppelin (or etc.) blast so crispy throughout your little section of woods (not that little), with no one busting %@#s about volume, while soaking in a private wood fired cedar hot tub amongst the trees & sky ~you can stop looking now~ you've found "THE SWEET SPOT!"
I doubt we'll forget how nicely those slice's of gorgeous dark wood curved together to build such functional, comfortable art or how peaceful it was to just gaze out the window & BE there. If our memories DO begin to fog and need some refreshing, as they sometimes do (& we do!)~ we'll be baaaack! 😏 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💚

We loved staying at the Record Room. Really neat experience with the outdoor kitchen, record collection, and the wood fired hot tub! The hot tub takes a solid 4 hours of burning to heat it up. As others said, opt for the firewood. The cabin is behind the owners home and active saw mill. It’s not too far from a road, so you hear occasional traffic. The outhouse is the cleanest one I have ever been in. I would love to come back in the fall!

The Record Room cabin was better than we had imagined. Masen and his family were super cool and helpful. The wood fired tub was so unique and awesome, definitely opt for the fire-wood add on. We built Viking chairs at the wood shop on site and they are incredibly cool! We WILL be coming back and we WILL be telling of our friends and family. Especially at night, this cabin is a magical little place.

What a lovely little stay. So many great records to choose from, comfy bed, and beautiful surroundings. Hosts were super friendly and had plenty of reccomendations of things to do in the area. Just know if your going to soak in the hot tub that it's a big time commitment. It took a fre hours to fill up and a few more to get it hot. Work every bit of effort though!

The Record Room
We had an awesome stay at the Record Room! In addition to the obvious amazing collection of records and killer sound system, the outdoor kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to bbq and more! The outhouse was clean and also well stocked-felt like a real restroom! If you want the rustic outdoor-ness of camping but a without the hassle of a tent, I would highly recommend! Town was also super close to get whatever supplies and Masen was a responsive host 👍

The Record Room
Had a great stay over the 2023 holidays. We opted for the firewood add-on had had more than we needed. The cabin heats up really well with just the log burner and we had more than enough bedding to stay toasty through the night. Easy to get to and well kept place. We also got great use from record collection. Thoroughly recommend staying

We had such an amazing time at the Record Room. The land was gorgeous, the outdoor kitchen was so helpful for cooking delicious meals, and the cabin itself was stunning and cozy. Everything exceeded our expectations! We played nearly every record, visited a local haunted trail for Halloween, and had such a wonderful time being unplugged from our busy lives for a weekend. Masen was so helpful and kind, he made sure we had everything we needed for a good stay in the cabin. We are looking forward to returning as soon as we possibly can! We will truly miss this place.
