The Trailer is a gorgeous, fully restored 35 foot Spartan Spartanette from 1953. It has an open plan with one full-size bed in the front and two twin beds in the back. There is a beautiful banquette dining area, kitchen and bathroom. Please note that only the refrigerator and sink function in the kitchen. To cook, Trailer guests have access to the communal outdoor kitchen. There is a private shower with hot water in the Trailer but the toilet does not function. Trailer guests have access to a private outhouse. Trailer guests also can enjoy a private picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill. There is electricity in the Trailer along with Wifi, fans for the summer and electric space heaters for the early spring and fall. They also have access to the communal cedar sauna. The Large Dome is a magical 30 foot geodesic dome tucked into the woods with an open plan and big bay window which looks out over our spring-fed pond. There is one king size bed and a sofa. The dome can accommodate up to 15 guests, with additional guests bringing their own air mattresses, sleeping bags, and cots. It is a fun space for families and groups of friends who want a glamorous camping experience! There are privacy curtains, electrical outlets and colorful lights which turn the dome into a glowing bubble. There is Wifi and A/C for the summer and heat for the early spring and fall. The Small Dome is a beautiful 16 foot geodesic dome nestled into the forest on the far edge of the property. Set up as a living space with a queen size bed and sofa, the Small Dome can accommodate up to 3 people. The Main House is a beautiful four bedroom, two bathroom home which sits at the center of the Inn. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a Viking range, a dining room, living room, library and sun room. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and three bedrooms and one bathroom with a deep, soaking tub on the second floor, for a total of four queen-size beds and up to eight guests. One of the bedrooms has a murphy bed and, when raised, doubles as a yoga/meditation space. There is a large back deck with seating, dining and a gas grill. There are window A/C units in the summertime, central heating in the winter and a smart TV. Please note that the woodstove is not available to guests. Outlier Inn Tiny House 3 on Farm

Stayed solo for 3 days and 2 nights in one of the tiny house..really chill spot. Host was nice. The land’s natural and rustic, not fancy but pretty. Kitchen, bathroom, and shower are outside and shared with others (different but fine). Cute animals and fresh eggs for sale. There’s a bike trail with a lake right across the road! perfect for a ride. Tried Threshold and Innes nearby, 30min ish ride..both were solid. Overall, a laid-back solo escape in nature.

Outlier Inn Vintage Trailer on Farm

This place is really cool! It’s nothing like a normal campground, there are out door kitchen areas that are shared and stocked with everything you could need equipment-wise. There is a beautiful pond, a working sauna, and a free use outdoor clawfoot tub, an amphitheater with a stage for events, and so much more. Dogs are allowed off leash so they can roam somewhat freely along the property as long as they are well behaved. There is a barn with a shop on the property where you can pick up meats, eggs, etc all handled through cash or Venmo transactions all honor system based. The property is huge so you don’t feel like you are on top of other people at all and each site has its own picnic table, fire pit and firewood stock. This is a place that you can tell reuses, repurposes, and up cycles what they can and they have done an amazing job making it feel cool and laid back. Our least favorite part were the outhouses (bathrooms) because they are pit style bathrooms, no flushing toilets. Nonetheless, I would recommend anyone to come check this place out. Josh was super nice and always available by text if needed. Highly recommend

Outlier Inn Vintage Trailer on Farm

We loved staying at the Outlier Inn. We rented the Vintage Trailer for a couple of nights. It was the perfect size for a small family of four. Stunning grounds, spacious, and quiet. Josh was a great host, making sure everything in the trailer was set and we had everything we needed. If any guest had a question or needed assistance, Josh was on it immediately. What we liked most about this place is that each 'cabin' is unique. The communal kitchens are equipped with all you need, and the outdoor showers were a refreshing surprise. A great place, whether you are a couple or a group of 20, the Outlier Inn can accommodate everyone. cannot wait to plan the next trip.

Had a hiking reunion with friends from college at the outlier inn. The pictures don't do it justice! The place is amazing! Such amazing vibes from josh and everyone we met at the inn from the start of booking until checkout. Truly can't recommend enough!

Outlier Inn Large Dome on Farm

This place was so neat. Every little details from the kitchen to the barn store to the grounds were very cleverly done. Loved how much firewood was around and how it created ambiance. That one goat was super sassy! When we arrived at the big dome it was all ready for us including bedding and towels. Dog friendly. The only issue we had is if you are traveling with kids, the various hammocks are either too high or tippy. Ours fell out multiple times. Ouch! Can’t wait to recommend to others and come back.

We loved our stay at the Outlier Inn. Beautiful grounds and nice animals. We drove to Minnewaska State Park for really nice hikes. Also recommend Morning Sunshine in Ellenville for breakfast sandwiches, and checking out Iness for a nicer breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Outlier Inn Tiny House 1 on Farm

I loved staying on Josh’s land. The map was super helpful to find everything we needed. Inside the tiny house was everything you need to stay weather it be 2 nights or more equip with all kitchen appliances and cookware. In the barn shop he had eggs and meats you can purchase, he makes it so you never have to leave the property. Josh was always available for contact with a quick response. I love that he has farm animals on the property, it made the experience even better!

Beautiful property for glamping

Outlier Inn Tiny House 3 on Farm

It’s a wonderful property. Thoughtfully laid out so theirs is privacy to each campsite but you are never too far from an outhouse or a kitchen. The tiny house was cozy and perfect for two and our pets. The farm animals seem to be very happy and are out and about often. There are small heaters for the tiny homes and fire pits near every campsite.

Outlier Inn Cottage on Farm

The cottage was such a cute and quaint home. It was a welcoming space for my friends and I. The kitchen seemed new and all the appliances worked. The rooms were cozy and the sheets and pillows were soft. The living room area was nice and bright. The home had lots of natural light. Overall the cottage was so clean. The camp site was very nice, and Josh was an amazing host. He was attentive to our needs. I would go back again! 10 out of 10.

Outlier Inn Tiny House 3 on Farm

The Outlier Inn is a gorgeous site with so many opportunities for fun adventures — including visiting the sweet animals, walking around the property, and visiting the shop which is filled with farm-fresh goodies! You might want to double-check your booking with the host, as we were put in a different tiny house than the one we booked in advance. And, if you're traveling in the winter, prepare to dig yourself out of the driveway! We got stuck multiple times and had to shovel ourselves.

Everything was perfect and as expected. The dome was clean, as well as the kitchen. We took our 2 dogs with us and they had a blast too! We’ll definitely be back

Outlier Inn Bungalow on Farm

We had a fantastic time at the Outlier Inn. It had everything we needed--comfortable beds, dark skies, quiet, and a nice fire pit to cook over at night. There was even a record player in the cottage, where my daughter was excited to find her favorite Joan Jett album in the stack. There's the most beautiful vintage shop in the barn loft, and some friendly animals on the property. If you have the chance to sample some of the produce grown on the farm, definitely do--everything was fantastic. Thank you Josh for a great stay. We'll be back for some more rest, relaxation and rock n' roll soon!
