The property was beautiful — really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and listening to the birds and the wind — a calm respite from city noise! Loved the outdoor shower after a hot day of hiking.

The cottage was adorable and comfortable, just as advertised. It was perfect. The outdoor shower was wonderful and the fire pit, beautiful hills full of wildflowers, birds singing, and mountains in the background were so peaceful. Caitlin was a lovely host. I definitely hope to be able to return to the little witch cottage.

This is an enchanted and charming cottage. Very unique. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Such a lovely garden with flowers and herbs everywhere. The outdoor shower is incredible. Hot water and refreshing. Surrounded by mint plants so you keep getting that fresh scent with the breeze.
Caitlin is an excellent host. She supplied everything you need. I was impressed. She is also super friendly and helpful, while giving you the privacy and warmth.
I am a solo traveler and I felt extremely safe and comfortable.

I stayed at the Witch Cottage in Cairo, NY for three days and two nights, and it was exactly the kind of peaceful retreat I needed. The fireplace inside the cabin was perfect for cozy evenings, and the outdoor fireplace made the quiet nights under the stars feel even more magical. I especially loved the outdoor shower, refreshing and immersive, surrounded by trees and garden peace.
The property itself is beautiful and serene. Waking up to the sounds of nature and sharing space with a robin nesting nearby added to the feeling of being fully tucked into the natural world. It’s a truly calming, grounding place. I’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking to slow down and reconnect.

This stone house cottage was absolutely lovely and charming. Would definitely stay here again. The dogs loved sniffing around the gardens. We only stayed for a night but we’ll definitely be back! Thank you for creating such a lovely space.

Caitlin was a welcoming host and we appreciated all the hospitality she provided from sharing local spots to visit to a peak into her rad ceramic studio. Got to spend time relaxing by a campfire and listening to all the nearby birds. When it was rainy we hung out in the romantic cabin. Definitely recommend it!

Kinda hate to say how much I fell in love with this little cottage, as it may get too popular, however I found everything about the cottage, the amenities, the gardens and the most gracious host & her pups wonderful.

Witch Cottage
I cannot recommend Caitlin’s incredibly cottage enough. My girlfriend (now fiancé) stayed here after our engagement and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. Gorgeous, romantic and so incredibly peaceful, the cottage is impeccably decorated and so so cozy. There is a beautiful fireplace that keeps the whole cottage warm, and the record player was a really nice touch too. The shower and outhouse were clean and well maintained. I’d recommend this spot to anyone. 10/10

Had an absolutely incredible time at this property. Caitlin Rose was a fantastic host and made sure my girlfriend and I had all we needed during our stay. Outdoor shower was toasty and cottage is as cozy as can be, especially with a nice fire. The chimney draws nicely but good to have kindling and fire starters to make sure you’re set up for success. Would love to return.

Such a quaint place to stay for a night while I was traveling in New York. Something right out of a fairy tale! Loved the indoor fireplace with coals started by the host and plenty of firewood and kindling. After camping earlier in my trip, I appreciated the internet, cell service, and electricity. Comfy bed and the kitchen had all I needed for my short stay. Caitlin greeted me upon arrival and showed me around. Appreciated the detailed messages about things to do in the nearby towns. Beautiful grounds with a great view of the mountains! ☀️

The cottage was a nice spot for a weekend getaway. It’s close to a grocery store and neighboring Catskills goodness. The property sits up on a hill and the cottage, although close to the primary residence, feels private. The host sells wood for the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace. Bedding/pillows, dishes and cookware, and spices were provided. Overall, a fun spot to spend the weekend.

This spot is even dreamier and cozier in person, if you can believe it! I loved that it felt tucked away and yet was close to all of the sights and attractions Hudson Valley has to offer. Caitlin rose was sooo accommodating and a truly wonderful, low key host. The composting toilet and outdoor shower were spotless and the water was warm. Even the sweet little cat who lives on the property was warm and inviting. Can’t recommend this spot enough! I’ll definitely be back :)

The Witch Cottage was such a great getaway from the city! The property was quiet, private & super laid back. Definitely recommend, perfect location for sightseeing in the area. Also, Caitlin has the best recommendations for shopping, dining and hikes.

The Little Witches Cottage is an GEM 💎 it’s true that pictures just don’t do justice sometimes. It looks beautiful through pictures but the feeling and the peace there is so serene and blew me away. The hosts are so great and provide you with total privacy after the initial tour. Every single piece of decor inside is so intentional and thoughtful and the gardens and grounds surrounding the cottage was an absolute dream to walk around and explore. If you are looking for a place for a soul recharge this is it! Plus they have a cat that comes and greets you who is so friendly and likes pets and cuddles :) thank you Caitlin!

My wife, dog, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. They have taken so much care to create a beautiful garden which is right outside of the cottage. The cottage had just what we needed. There was a great dog park nearby. Highly recommend.
