Lower Meadow site
Very quiet and serene place to set up my tent for the night. The lower and upper meadow separation wasn't totally clear to me, but I don't think it really mattered. Clean outhouse!

We had a great stay at the Secluded Spruces site. It was very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed walking the trails on the property. We loved the close proximity to Ithaca for restaurants and groceries as well.

This is one of the most beautiful hipcamp locations I’ve ever had the pleasure to book. It was peaceful, lush and quiet, with lovely trails to explore and well kept private mowed spots. Also the compost toilet was very clean and stocked. The location is not far from Ithica and Watkins glen. Highly recommend!

Great place. Lots of nature/ wildlife. Fields of wild flowers everywhere. Drove a sedan was a little bumpy but 100% accessible.

my best friend and I really enjoyed our stay here! we were at the "In the Pines" site and it was perfect. it was so spacious and cozy. the bed of pine needles was very comfy to walk around on and the trees kept us significantly cooler during some high heat. the meadows are beautiful. so many flowers and critters. the composting toilet was clean and simple. all in all we loved it and would totally stay again. thanks craig!

Secluded Spruces
We loved our single night stay here after visiting the Robert Tremen State Park. We had the furthest site so it was extra quiet and secluded. It was an incredibly simple process too. Once booked, address was sent and we arrived with no trouble finding the site. Craig was also able to accommodate an early check in for us which really helped out. We didn’t have cell service, which we loved but just keep in mind. We will definitely be back!

The Secluded Spruces site at The Green Heron property was perfect for our small travel trailer and a tent, offering ample, private space amidst a beautiful natural setting. Our kids were thrilled to spot a variety of wildlife, including rabbits, turtles, and an impressive Heron.
The property's location is ideally situated for exploring Ithaca's incredible hiking trails and state parks. We also appreciated the exceptionally clean composting toilet, just a short walk from our site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this Hipcamp gem!

Amazing spot. Beautiful land, views and so much wildlife. The birds singing was such an added bonus. The bed was comfy, the site was clean. Definitely wanting to go back!

This is a beautiful, clean, and simply a perfect place to stay overnight or for an extended stay. Craig, , the property owner, clearly takes pride in manicuring all of his five or six sites located on the property. All are very private. The compost toilet is very well-maintained and clean. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. If you’re ever in the Ithaca or finger Lakes region, this place is a must if you are a camper.

Pond site
Camping at Craig's land was great! We stayed at the pond site and it was a beautiful place to spend time at. Campsite and composting toilet are very well maintained. Unfortunately it rained a lot during our stay so we could not have a campfire, but quality wood was provided for a small fee. The narrow access road did get a bit muddy, so for bigger rigs be cautious. Would highly recommend!

Lower Meadow site
Loved this space! It's so well taken care of and serene, I went early in the season so I got to enjoy a few evenings of solitude in this beautiful region. Craig has put a lot of effort in the place, and it shows. Highly recommend!

Upper Meadow site
We needed a place to stay last minute in the Ithaca area for the night, and Craig's land was perfect! Spacious, well-maintained campsite in a beautiful setting. The composting toilet was super clean and close to the campsite. We were lucky and had a clear night, and the stars were top notch.

What a lovely spot, close to Ithaca but not too close...You feel very much in the country. Craigs place is very well maintained and the camping spots are easy to access. Craig was easy to communicate with, helpful and friendly. We had our dog who also had a great time.

Beautiful and well maintained campsite. The property is easy to access and has the essentials for camping; has a very clean eco-friendly compostable bathroom with everything you need. The host is very responsive and helpful, which made the experience even easier. The site feels private even with other campers nearby, and is located in a convenient/centralized location for sight seeing Ithaca (~10 minutes away) or the greater finger lakes area.

This was a great place! Went there with our kids and our dog and had a great weekend. It’s peaceful, secluded and has plenty of privacy. Just a short drive to downtown Ithaca and great hiking.
Craig was a great host, super responsive and helpful. No complaints whatsoever.
Only recommendation is to get there during daylight as some of the signs can be a little tricky to see at night.

A beautiful site in the meadow! Plenty of space to be comfortable, beautiful view as the sun was setting and a lovey place to relax in the morning with our coffee. Composting toilets! Firewood on site!

I loved the Lower Meadow campsite! Beautiful space, level for our 16’ Airstream Basecamp. Would be perfect spot for tenting! It was a quiet location with some road noise but almost nonexistent at night. The sky above was beautiful. Definitely a camp to come back to! Great communication from host!

We loved the privacy and being in the trees. Craig's signage was good. We found our spot the first night after dark. There seemed to be no bugs, which was awesome. The moon was big and bright through the trees. Our spot was very spacious. We plan to come back and spend more time there.

Beautiful spot to get off the road and spend a night with my dog. We had the place to ourselves. It was peaceful, quiet and lovely. Just 15 minutes away from the bustle of Ithica, but didn’t it feel like it at the site. And… a Wegman’s to stock up on some quality groceries.

Fantastic experience! Clean and smelled lovely. The temps were absolutely perfect when we went, so that definitely helped, but wow—might be the comfiest bed I’ve slept in outside of home.

Absolutely fabulous first glamping experience! Beautiful tent in between lovely oak trees and what a treat to roll right up to a set-up real bed in the woods after a long day of travel. Highly recommend.
