Mixed feelings. I had a good time but I will say the posting is not accurate. WiFi isn't available, I reached out about it and didn't get a response. In the photos they show a two burner stove in the covering, not there. The Christmas lights in the vardo didn't work. The fridges were pretty gross and the blue section for the vardo area of the fridge had a big glass container of like moldy potatoes. The first morning there I was cooking breakfast and 5 dogs ran into the covering of my site where my dog was. If there had been any mention of dogs free roaming the grounds I would not have booked. My dog can be very protective of me so I try to avoid interacting with other people's dogs when possible. I reached out to Nicollete and she apologized and said she would keep them away. This was true for the most part but there were 2 dogs that kept coming in. I also overheard her tell the husband and he did not sound pleased. I left really early the next morning so I could pack up and avoid them letting all 5 out again. Beautiful view. Wish the posting had mentioned anything about dogs and that the listing was more accurate.

My daughter and I were really excited about staying the night in this fairy-like cabin. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain outside, which was only made worse by the fact that there were no instruction before or upon arriving about where to go except, "Head straight to site" and "Park at listing". The cabin is behind other buildings and a few seeming entrances/parking that are overgrown with bushes, so it's really hard to tell where to go. This place is a communal camping area with both other listings and seasonal visitors who I assume work on the hemp farm that is mentioned in the instructions in the cabin. Again, this wouldn't have been a problem if there was more up front descriptions of the rental. The cabin itself reeked of stale Febreeze, which was suprising in this natural hippie atmosphere. Perhaps naively I expected there to be linens, AGAIN, if there had been any sort of useful description on the listing I would've brought them. The door to the cabin does not close completely, which felt like we would be mosquito bait. The bed is VERY small because it goes across vs. lengthwise. All the decorations are power-stapled. The trailer itself wasn't level, so I had to shove things I had under the mattress so I didn't feel like I was going to fall out. OK place, but a bit rundown. Definitely not as "cute and pretty" as photographed. I don't understand all the positive reviews, and there was no sign of the host as people happily mention. Happy we there only one night.

The problem was hip camp. The owner was very gracious when I texted her and let me know that she has pause the site and is no longer excepting vacancies. The Hipcamp website decided not to let me know, and my wife and I traveled out of our way to get there at the moment I am trying to get a refund from Hipcamp, but can’t reach them because of the robot system. Might have to go back to Airbnb instead of Hipcamp.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at Nicolette’s place. She has a really nice set up there. We ended up spending more time than we intended there, just because it was such a nice spot. We’d definitely recommend her place to friends.

Nicolette's whole set up was super fun, multiple units close together--but each with its own personality--and an outdoor kitchen as well as outdoor showers! Nicolette was super gracious as our booking was meant to be canceled and wasn't; not only did she still allow us to stay but she also upgraded us! Definitely stay here for a unique and tranquil experience made better by cool people.

The space was nice enough, but for charging $55 a night, it really should be clean (trashcans emptied, space swept, etc.). There were cat treats all over our room and the trash was overflowing with beer cans.
I think this place could be awesome if a little more effort was put into its maintenance/guest experience.

Due to no fault of the hosts, the very cold, rainy, then snowy weather made for a less than enchanting, muddy experience. We had booked two nights but because of some changes we had made in our itinerary, we only ended up spending one.
Pros: The setting seems like it would be really cool to visit if the weather cooperated. We would have loved to have walked around the farm. The outhouse was clean. The little cooking area next to the Vardo was well equipped with plenty of outlets to use. The Vardo itself is very cute (don't forget your own bedding!)
Cons: The Vardo is not heated so, under the circumstances, we went out and got a small heater that kept us warm in the little kitchen area next door, and warmed up the Vardo until we got into our sleeping bags. We seem to have been the last people to visit/camp in awhile but the communal kitchen sink was full of dishes, the fridge was full of stuff that really needed to be tended to and the one garbage can was full to overflowing. The elevated area by the kitchen is now not a place to sit, but a place that is being used to store random stuff. i.e. The "Neat and Tidy" pics did not match a lot of the actual environment.

We had a wonderful stay at the cusp of winter. It was pretty cold outside but we brought our own blankets - plenty of them!- into the adorable little tiny house and we were pretty toasty in there. There was running water until the last night when the pipes froze but other than that, everything was in working order. Would definitely return for warmer weather!

Was great trip! No one expected 20 degrees, so we were not surprised when we awoke to frozen pipes. Nicolette and her husband were very responsive and we greatly appreciated that (Had hot water in about an hour). The Vardo and kitchen area were very clean and had everything we needed. The hot outdoor shower was amazing! Be sure to bring own blankets and a bunch of your warmest if cold weather is expected.

The site is very beautiful and the vardo is very cozy. The host was very accommodating as well. I believe I could have used more information beforehand - I didn't bring blankets because there was no information about it on the listing. I arrived at night so it took me awhile to get settled and find the lights and restrooms. I think both more information beforehand and better signaling could be very useful, especially when arriving once it's dark. I loved the kitchen area and the pond! Thank you Nicolette!

This is a special place, truly enchanting. Loved the painting, decoration, and lights everywhere! The Vardo is charming, very comfy, and perfect refuge through a chilly October night. There's a semi-enclosed area next to it with all the items pictured, just for the Vardo, and its own fire pit. It's situated right next to a pond and fields, very peaceful and plenty of wildlife. The large common area nearby also includes a gathering area, kitchen facilities, showers etc. - there are other structures on the property, so could easily host families or multiple campers, but was otherwise unoccupied this cool, wet autumn weekend. Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful time and sharing their delightful space, clearly much love was invested here, would recommend.

The Enchanted Vardo was more than we could have imagined! Wished we were staying here longer! Our site was amongst other sites, non too close and the site faced the pond which was away from the other sites so it made it feel very private. You have your own kitchen to use, and a bigger one with a fridge a few steps away. The outdoor showers were amazing and the Porta-Potties were super clean and had hand sanitizer inside and outside. The views around were stunning along with the birds signing in the pond. The night time sky lights up along with the sounds of turkeys, cows, and coyotes in the distance! All in all this was a great place to stay!
