The property features a meandering creek, enchanting hardwood forests, and open fields, all waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. As you enter the private drive, you'll be greeted by our charming Barn and a delightful array of animals. Chickens, peacocks, turkeys, and occasionally a visiting goat create a lively and picturesque setting. Interacting with these friendly creatures adds a touch of whimsy to your stay. Our cabins provide a rustic experience that we like to describe as a step up from traditional tent camping. You'll find a cozy and comfortable space where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing basic amenities. It's the perfect balance between the simplicity of camping and the comfort of a cabin. Convenience is at your fingertips, as we are located just a 5-minute walk from the town center. Tucked away in peaceful woods, this cabin offers a secluded retreat within the expansive 55-acre campground. The serene atmosphere is enhanced by the soothing sounds of a babbling stream, creating a truly enchanting ambiance right at your site. Inside the cabin, you'll find everything you need to cook and prepare delicious meals, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience of outdoor cooking. Whether you're grilling your favorite dishes or roasting marshmallows over the campfire, all the necessary tools and equipment will be readily available to you. The cabin itself is a haven where you can disconnect from the demands of modern life and embrace the tranquility of the natural surroundings. Unplug from technology and relish in the beauty of the woods, enjoying the company of your traveling partner in this secluded oasis. THERE IS A 25 DOLLAR PET FEE for each dog that you bring. This will be added on as an “extra” fee after booking.

The "Love Shack" provides everything necessary to reconnect with nature. There is over 60 private acres to explore including a meandering creek, hard woods and open fields. At the mouth of the private drive you are welcomed by the Barn and Animals, including Chickens and Goats. It is also directly next to our brand new outdoor showers! Our cabins are very rustic, we like to call it a step up from tent camping. We are conveniently located 5 minute walk from town center. Glamping at it's finest. There is a $25 fee for each dog that joins you in our Cabins. This must be added after you book as an extra fee.

Great place! Cabin had everything you need. The town square has great restaurants and some convenience stores in case you need anything. Really lovely view and loved the privacy.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the love shack! We stayed at the other site here just over a years ago! It was so peaceful and serene. The secluded feeling was amazing. The bed was so comfortable! The trails are great to walk and the environment is amazing. Derek and Scott are amazing hosts, they let you enjoy your stay, but if you need anything just call and they answer in a timely manner. The land is great also for our pup to just run and explore and tire herself out! Derek and Scott we can't wait to stay again! Thanks for a wonderful birthday stay for my wife!

I love the camping site peaceful, beautiful, and cozy!! Wood fire spot and bbq grill were fabulous as well. Derek is the most kindest host I have ever met!! Can’t thank you enough Derek. I hope to see you one day sooner or later!! Take care!!

Enjoyed myself in this little cabin. It's stocked with just enough for you to get by. It's tucked out of the way but close enough to head into the city if you wanted to.

We absolutely loved the cabin, very welcoming and relaxing. The creek behind the cabin was so peaceful with the running water. Alot of land to have your canine run and burn off energy. Very quiet and serene. We saw deer at 7am across the creek. The showers were absolutely amazing. It is so private and everything is so close by and convenient if you want to go out to eat at a brewery or need a last minute thing you forgot. We will definitely be staying at derricks cabin again!!
