It was really nice to have access to a very kitchen and restrooms . On the other end , the tent space is too small for 2 tents , and very close to the house. But the worst is that I had to shovel dog poop for 15 minutes , it was every where fresh and old .

Good to have amenities like the washer/dryer , bathroom and kitchen. Goats were making noise all night.

Loved staying here! We had access to the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room which was really nice. The hosts Vinny and Vern were awesome and all of the guests were super nice! The backyard was fenced in about 6 foot high until where the sheep are so lots of privacy. We had our 3 dogs and we’re able to leave 2 of them off the leash in the backyard the whole time. Our husky had to be kept on a lead because he was to obsessed with the sheep and wanted to go play with them haha. We put our tent right under the tree so it stayed shaded for most of the day otherwise sitting under the deck and the big table there was also nice for keeping cool on hot days.
Only thing I would change is the grass is pretty dry so you can’t walk barefoot and it could be cleaned a little more. Rotten milk in the fridge from past guests and the showers, toilets, and things could use a little more cleaning.
Otherwise our stay was amazing!

Alexander’s space was a great place to set up camp! Check-in was easy, as Vern and Alex made sure we had all codes (wifi, doors, etc). There’s 2 bathrooms for use, huge kitchen, and the house itself is really a gem. The property has a gorgeous view of the mountains also 😉 Driving there I thought we might be in someone’s backyard in the Burbs, but this is more rural and definitely a welcome treat! The town of Brighton is just a few mins away for anything you might need anyway. I would definitely recommend camping here, or even staying at the property via AirBnb. We’ll definitely keep this on the list! Thanks guys!

We had the entire back yard to ourselves. People do go outside to smoke and drink throughout the night as this property is a multi room air BNB as well. Everyone on site was super friendly. The host Vinny made sure we had everything we needed. It easy to find and all the amenities were perfect! This is definitely a place I would stay again!

The most pleasant surprise ever! We booked a simple hip camp and expected a simple hip camp, and that is not what we ended up with! This is a campsite in the yard of a travel lodge that is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Vern, the on-site host was so amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. This was absolutely the coolest Hipcamp I’ve ever booked. You have access to the kitchen and the bathrooms, which was so amazing ! Also we did laundry here ! So many unexpected surprises. The wind was insane the day that we stayed here and the host (and us) was nervous about our tent being blown away, so they let us set up inside the garage where it would be safe, when we got back from our concert at 2am, Vern had turned our simple tent in the garage into an absolute paradise escape. He decked it out with fake plants and cool lights, it was honestly the kindest thing anyone has ever done for us in our travels. We are so grateful. Also, we booked this place super last minute due to a mix up in reservations and we were able to go there almost immediately and get set up and still make it to red rocks in time for our show. When we woke up in the AM we were able to shower, do laundry, and make breakfast in the most beautiful kitchen and Vern lit a fire in the fireplace and turned on the TV for us. For travelers on a cross country camping trip, this place was a dream. Overall, an outstanding experience. Thanks Vern for the great company and for making us feel so taken care of!

I cannot recommend because I did not stay there. On the day of my reservation just 30 minutes a ay I called to get any kind of instructions and was told that they do not accept RV although my request had been accepted. So my complaint is about timely communication. But since I didn’t stay there I can not comment on the place itself nor the service provided.

Interesting stay. Felt like a hostel more than a hipcamp spot next to an Airbnb. Physically the spot was semiprivate, we pulled our popup camper down into the back driveway where there was electrical hookups and access through the lower garage to a bathroom in the house. The other hipcamp location looked like it was in the flat field to the left of the house. Big open space food if you had a bigger rig. Not a lot of shade except around the retainer wall that spiraled down to the garage. We were able to rig a tarp between the wall and our camper for extra sun shade. We were invited to pull our car out of the sun into the garage while we were there which helped on the 90-100° days this summer.
Inside we had access to a 1.8 million dollar housw that's for sale with good bones but bad maintenance. Lots of in and out Airbnb guests for rooms that looked half finished and lockless. I didn't feel safe leaving anything out and would suggest leaving all valuables locked up safely. The floors were barely swept or cleaned on the four days we were there and one of the guests left her chihuahua there unattended all day and let it pee on the floor wherever. They left a pee puddle in the lower lounge for days where we were being told we could bring our toddler inside to play in the ac that also went out after a few days there.
The property manager Chad was friendly enough, maybe to much so. Was inviting us to use the facilities and do some trade work and then retracted the offer after a small upsetting comment on one of the guests putting soapy hands in her ground beef while cooking and our professionally trained chef/ "Pops" trying to explain why everyone who ate after them got sick. We were invited to pay another night or leave after doing told we could stay three more days.
The other guests left soaps and towels and dishes all over. Their dinner dishes where still in the sink with their morning coffee mugs. No one seemed to care about masks and were smoking herb off the back porch socializing without a care for our toddler. They even had their bong out on the communal table with the herb shaped ashtray full. They had 3 bathrooms, possibly a fourth I never saw. Only two were readily accessible, and only one had a working shower for 10+ people. The shower room was frequently ill stocked and ran out of TP as we left with no hand towel available to dry with.
The house was beautiful where it was finished, the kitchen was a treat but the communal aspect needed better cleaning and maintenance with COVID precautions. Host wasted money on fancy espresso options instead of stocking kitchen basics. Pantry was largely junk food and quick sugar and the fridge quickly got over run by the in and out guests from all over the country.
Not sure the property manager was doing legal work on his construction projects, seemed like he was networking and looking for the next paying gig more than investing in the work he had before him. Not sure the owner was fully aware of how his space is being maintained.
Beautiful location, nice house, but strange people. Trump Desantis flag hanging out front. Patchy wifi. Construction everywhere. Left the garage cleaner than we were given it. Found pot containers in the downstairs lounge and the laundry room the first night we were there, and that was the last night we saw them clean the bathrooms.
