Welcome to our newly constructed cabins and common building in a quaint town in upstate New York. Situated on 21.5 acres of land, our cabins offer a serene escape with a large vegetable garden during the summer months. Enjoy convenient access to hiking trails right outside the front door of the cabins. Both cabins have heat and electric. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a week-long retreat, we invite you to come and stay awhile.

Hello, we are a new campground located in the town of sand lake. Only about 20 minutes from troy. We just opened this year and are getting ready for the spring season. The campground will be open year round. Both cabins have heat and electric. Please note the sleeping cabins do not have bathrooms in them as all bathrooms are located in the common building. We have two camping cabins and our common building. The common building has a laundry room, kitchen, bathrooms, showers and an office space for those who may need to work remote. Our property also borders Bessie’s woods, a large forever wild property with great hiking. Our trails lead right into Bessie’s. We also plant a large garden area in the spring. We can’t wait for this season! If you’re looking for a close to home camping experience reach out to us!

Nestled in the hills of Rensselaer county our newly constructed cabins and common building were built in the summer and fall of 2023. Fiddlehead was built in the winter of 2025z Come snowshoe in the winter and hike in the spring, summer and fall as our property is next to Bessie’s woods or come to relax and unwind in the woods. There are snowshoes on site for rent while you stay. Please note the cabins do not have the bathroom in them. Bathrooms are located in the common building which is less than 100 ft from the cabin *We are 30 minutes from Jiminy Peak which offers downhill skiing and adventure park in the summer and fall. *centrally located to dozens of hiking trail destinations.. *6 miles to the grocery store *Many regional restaurants to choose from *West, Basque Ann Willard ski and tubing mountains are an easy drive to. *Close proximity to downtown Troy, Albany and Saratoga. *35 minutes from Albany International Airport. *Many wedding and party venues in vicinity. *Cherry Plain State Park is approximately a 13 minute drive to that has: hiking, biking, swimming and fishing. *30 minutes to some of the local colleges such as:RPI, HVCC, Russell Sage and SUNy Albany *Going to a show at Mass MOCA-less than an hour away. *Pet Friendly- please reach out to let us know about your pet. * Summer we have our farm stand up and running with fresh veggies picked right on site in our large garden. Enjoy veggies such as tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, corn, squash and much more! *Also started a small Christmas tree farm with trees ready in another 8 years. Come stay for a hike or just relax in nature.

Delightful cabin in a beautiful part of upstate New York. Brand new cabin with electricity and heat. Well appointed common building with showers toilets and a kitchen/great room. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Peaceful little site! The cabin was very comfortable and it was nice having the well stocked common area for showers and restroom usage.

This is definitely one of the best locations we have stayed at…amazing cabin, comfortable bed..a huge window (with curtains) that overlooks the woods. The common building showers and bathrooms are wonderful and so clean. A large kitchen to prepare meals…they’ve added an outdoor shower (although the indoor one is perfect). We book this every year on our way to Maine and hope to someday spend more than one night . Sign out on roadway is easy to see (even at 930pm)

Clean, warm, cozy cabin!

This spot was great! The cabins were cozy, the host was flexible, and everything was clean and worked super well! We loved our stay and would love to come back. Only suggestions would be to bring your own water, it states that the water is potable but the iron and mineral content was too much for us. Also we arrived to the site past sunset and the gps brought us to a trailhead off the main road, we just backtracked and looked for the Taborton Harvest sign, very close.

Kiley and Justin were great hosts and what they've built is spectacular. The cabins were extremely comfortable and the main community cabin had all the things we needed during our trip. We really enjoyed learning more about the garden and hiking into the woods. Can't wait to come back again!

Boulder Pines
Outstanding. It was better than expected. The cabin was super clean and beautiful. The common areas were also spotless and enjoyable. The area was quite and private. We went hiking at the adjoining Bessie's Woods which was also very nice. We would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful place to stay and relax

Thank you for such a relaxing place to stay. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The windows in our cabin overlooking the forest were beautiful. The common building was stocked with everything you could need to eat and prepare a meal (bring your own food etc)

I absolutely loved Taborton Harvest. It is incredibly peaceful, Justin and Kiley are such kind and generous hosts. My cabin was cozy, and I got to fall asleep watching the fireflies from the comfort of a toasty bed. The common building is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, and the shower was wonderful. I loved visiting the gardens too. And the hike into Bessie's Woods is totally worth it. The trails are very well marked and make an easy loop back to the camp. My only regret is that I only booked one night. I'll definitely be back!
