Welcome to Stergelandia-this is the place we wish we had when we needed it most. We take the work out of camping for you! Come experience open fields, dark skies and forest deep in Amish country. We've all had difficulties in our lives that required us to regroup and reset. With this in mind, we designed and created the glass sanctuary for our guests, an on-site store for your camping essentials, walking paths for you to immerse yourself in the woods and quiet, contemplative spaces for you to sit and reflect. Coming soon is the writing shed-a small cabin with a porch for guests to reserve for their creative writing use. Love nature but don't want to immerse yourself in the fields and woods? Enjoy stargazing and sunbathing on our elevated viewing platform and field-level cabana deck! Love wildlife? Spring Allens is teeming with life. We are home to white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits chipmunks and our beloved frogs! At night, hear the chirping of the peeper tree frogs and the howl of the coyotes. Coming with friends? From the gathering circle featuring wood benches for your group to sit and talk, to the decks and benches thoughtfully laid out throughout the property, there is plenty of space for you to enjoy the quiet serenity of an overnight in the countryside. Our meditation space, the Glass Chapel, is perfect for intimate ceremonies and gatherings, and our field viewing platform and deck is an excellent place for people to gather under the sun and stars. Enjoy your complimentary weekend morning breakfast in a communal setting in our Wake Up Cafe located in the Stergion's Travels store. Spring Allens by Stergelandia is perfect for stargazing! A remote setting, you’re close enough to amenities to feel at home but deep enough in the woods to get away from it all. We’ve seen deer, foxes, turkeys, hawks, chipmunks and bear on the property-a wildlife lovers paradise! We are 9 minutes from the Genesee River access point where fishing and paddling is plentiful. Want to unplug? Our guests with T-Mobile, AT&T and Cricket have had reliable cell service and we can help with tips to store your cell phone during your stay. Our guests with Verizon report they are offline, leaving you free to use your phone for photos without the interruptions or temptations of outside life. We are close by in our cottage on most weekends if any questions arise and can be reached by cell phone during the week. We are a pack-in/pack-out site and offer cozy Mexican blankets, Icelandic Wool blankets, Icelandic Chocolates and other items and souvenirs for purchase on most Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. All glamping guests registered through Hipcamp are given complimentary access to scheduled activities in September-October including our amazing annual Chicks in the Sticks event. Camping at Stergelandia was such an experience. Gorgeous views, plenty of places to chill, tripod grate over the fire pit for cooking and trails to hike! The tent was very spacious but decorated to be quite cozy. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back and see the additions that Jen is manifesting!

Camping with our doggos!
I loved glamping at Jennifer's land! The land was beautiful and thriving with gorgeous foliage and plants. We brought our doggos, which they were sad to leave. They were treated as welcomed guests and loved being able to run around in the fields and trails exploring. Jennifer made our stay so comfortable, like it was our home away from home!

Site 2 - Stay Where the Deer Roam!
A True Campers Oasis
We loved tent camping on Jennifer’s land, it was quite the retreat. Jennifer was extremely accommodating and considerate to our wants and needs as campers, even helping us to pack up when the rain won against our personal tent. Can’t wait for our next visit, and to stay in one of the provided tents that Jennifer has available for renting!

The land is magical. So peaceful and beautiful. Jennifer goes out of her way to welcome you and make sure you have everything you need. Delicious snacks for breakfast! River access a short drive away.

Reset, refresh and be delighted
Jennifer and her land are delightful. During our glamping weekend, we were able to star gaze without light pollution. From the observation platform, we saw soo many stars, the Milky Way and some shooting stars! The fireflies put on a show as well. Jennifer was a wonderful host! She greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the land for which she shows much love and commitment. I especially loved a path which had overarching trees - which made it magical. She showed us the frog pond(s) (so cool!) too. There were places for quiet contemplation or meditation. As she continues to develop her land, I want to come back and see the progress. One of my favorite places to hang out was the platform under the observation deck. It has Adirondack loungers, where you can recline and nap, read or hang out. There was a nice breeze and shelter from the sun on a hot day. Jennifer did everything we could ask to make our stay more comfortable and was she very responsive and respectful of feedback. The breakfast table was a delight every morning with a wonderful assortment of food (including Amish baked goods), hot drinks and freshly picked wildflowers. I felt so pampered and catered to. We had a fire in the firepit every night. Jennifer even asked if we wanted to do a project with branding irons as a souvenirs (of course we said yes). You could not ask for a better host or place to reset from a hectic life, refresh your soul and delight your senses. I highly recommend this place!!!

Epic camping adventure
The camping at Stergelandia was an epic adventure for the three of us. We had the most beautiful views, the star gazing was spectacular, the frog ponds were fun and we were close enough to the river to be able to do some fishing. Jennifer is a absolutely fantastic host and provides so much knowledge of the area and animals as well as provided a breakfast that was truly delightful, fresh baked breads and sweets, fresh fruit and boiled eggs, it was top notch. You will love this spot, the tents are fun and it was easy to navigate to the site.

This was the best campgrounds I've stayed at through HipCamp. On the drive down, coming from Buffalo, you pass so many quaint main streets, farm stands, and flower shacks - you will want to stop at all of them, so factor in time for that! The grounds are huge and there are frog ponds, gorgeous canvas tents with all the fixings, gas and wood fire pits, there's hot coffee in the morning, and a great place to cook over a fire. There's a field that is perfect for firefly watching and star gazing. Hammocks, porta potties, cooking utensils, firewood, water, and a dipping pond are just some of the amenities on this property. You can really unwind here and take it all in. No light pollution is getting in the way of the sky or stars. I took my time and spent a lot of time reading by the fire and cooking, taking naps, walking, and just being calm. My dog joined me and loved it , sniffing a million different places and just taking in the wildness. This is a great spot to go for people who aren't campers or don't have camping items. If you reserve the large bell tent, it has a bed, table, pillows, lights, fire pit, wood, etc. You get a welcome pack with bug spray, wipes, hand sanitizer, a first aid kit, Tylenol, water, so many things you could use! All you need is to bring your clothes, some food, and entertainment. That's it! Bring a blanket and warm pj's because the night always get deceptively cold in the country. Having hot coffee ready for me in the morning made this heaven

A field of wildflowers. Very friendly Amish neighbors. A vast night sky of stars. Awakening to a chorus of birdsong. A spacious tent, with lovely amenities. A very pleasant host with a grand vision to bring back the natural ecosystem that once existed on this land.
