We have developed a network of trails to enjoy and offer swimming, catch release fishing, hiking, and biking is nearby at the Slate Valley Trails. Lots of places to picnic and enjoy the sunset. We have a farm stand, unlimited firewood, ice, and free flowing spring water for you to enjoy. Our farm currently offers firewood, bagged spring ice, spring water, and we operate a farm stand on the weekends seasonally selling our own pesticide produce and free range eggs and camp related supplies. The Pines Site
The Pines site solo camping
This site was very private and pristine! Not a cigarette butt or even a peice of paper to be found anywhere on this land! Sooo nice to see respect of the property. I arrived late, just as it got dark, and Heather personally brought me to the site and had a roaring fire waiting for me! Wonderful hospitality! I solo camped this time, and felt extremely safe here. I walked the numerous trails and enjoyed the hidden gems all over the property. To finish off my stay, my car needed a jump start as I was packing up, and Paul was there in a second to help me out. Did not make me feel I was bothering him asking for help. Definitely stay again!! Thank you!

The Hops Site - RVs and Groups
BEST group site we've stayed at!
EASILY the best group camping site that I've been to, and only will get better with the plans Heather has for it! The Ridgeline site included a large covered fire pit with a chimney, Adirondack chairs, and a nice outhouse, plenty of flat ground for tents. Use of the quarry is incredible, walked some of the trails, and Heather has a farm stand by the road with tons of fresh produce, camping essentials, and ice! She's very flexible, great at communicating, and responsive.

The Oak Tree Site
BREATHTAKING!
There's no words to describe this experience besides incredible. First, the directions to get there were a breeze. As soon as you arrive you're greeted by this cute farm stand and, of course, Heather. Heather was above and beyond accommodating, SO kind, so friendly, and so generous. She led us up to our camp site (Oak Tree) and even put our wood in her truck to bring it up. When we arrived at the site, I was completely in awe. Of course you see pictures, but NOTHING compares to how beautiful the view and site is in person. You have a MASSIVE mowed and maintained area right under this beautiful oak tree. The porta potty is extremely well kept and, not kidding, it didn't even smell the slightest. You have a beautiful view of the mountains, rolling hills, and entire property. At night, if you're into star gazing, the night sky was INCREDIBLE! You could absolutely see the milky way and every star in the sky. We went to bed both nights to the sounds of crickets and nature all around us. There was absolutely no campers around us, we had complete privacy. We brought our 70 pound dog with us, and he had a BLAST zipping around the property and exploring all the sniffs and sounds. We explored the slate rock quarry and fished in the catch and release stocked pond (we caught over 20 bass!!) Seriously no words or pictures can describe the ambiance and calming feeling you have the second you step onto the property. If you're debating on booking, I promise you, you will not regret it!!

The Owl Site
Amazing All-Around Experience!
Absolutely adored this site! Heather was such an amazing host from the start. She met us out front & supplied us with a map before guiding us to our site, but also gifting us with some fresh cucumbers. The site itself was well into the woods, private & a good walk away from other sites. We had plenty of space to set up two hammocks, a 6-person tent, a canopy, a golfing net, couple of chairs & three other tables alongside the picnic table provided. The fire ring is great to cook over, but there is also a standing charcoal grill. After setting up, my group tried to walk around the trails to the quarry, until we realized we weren't familiar with the correct orientation of the map. When we drove back to the house, we stopped by the gazebo to take in the gorgeous view & took pictures with the cows along the fence. While Heather was busy working out front, she took her time to explain the roads as her husband had been putting up new signs for the trails (she even insisted in driving up to show us the way herself). Before we went on our way, Heather invited us to collect eggs from her chicken coop! This wasn't our only time stopping by the front as we were sure to make use of the hot shower, flushable toilet & fresh water spring. By the end of our stay, the trash bin & recycling bin was a great amenity to have for a group of our size. There was so much to do with so few characters available for this review. But for those looking for a great spot -- you can stop looking. This is it.

The Oak Tree Site
You gotta' book this place!
Wow.... simply put it was an astonishingly incredible experience. From Heather's accommodating and very cool nature, to the add-ons that made our stay easier, to the stunning beauty of our site and the grounds as a whole - we were NOT prepared to be this blown away! The farm store has a camper shelf, with items like towels for swimming, matches for the firepit, cooking utensils and more! Also at the farm (which is where you meet Heather before being escorted to your awesome site) are add-ons like a pop-up tent, kindling, ice and more as well as an assortment of farm fresh produce, eggs, bug spray and other essentials available for purchase. We stayed at the Oak Tree Site, which was far larger than expected and extremely private with stunning views of the mountains. It was perfect for our dog to roam off leash because it's sort of closed in by the landscaping, creating a perfect perimeter to keep him on our site. The site is in mostly full sun, except underneath the great oak tree - which is where we pitched our tent and slept comfortably in the August heat. The hand built outhouse was quaint and well kept, and the site has a small grill and firepit that sounds like a beautiful gong when you tap it. The crickets sung us to sleep and we made lots of memories with our senior pup. Heather also suggested we visit the quarry, where I swam with goldfish and felt renewed. I'll dream of that magical spot for years to come. We can hardly wait to return!
