The fireflies were incredible, and it was great spot (I did make liberal use of my bug spray to properly enjoy the hammock). Very kind hosts with great recommendations for the area, the whole stay was a treat :)

Pooh’s Hideaway
Matt and Sheryl were such kind and welcoming hosts! We stayed at Pooh’s Hideaway which was very relaxing and spacious. Highly recommend if looking to enjoy some quiet time with easy access to Watkins Glen downtown!

Nice little property that is very close to all kinds of amenities (downtown 5 minute drive). Matt was very accommodating, even changed out my site for easy accessibility with my truck. Could only stay for one night but was well worth the experience. Will be back if I am up in that area again!

Sheryl and Matt were great. Met us upon arrival, showed us the sites, and gave clear instructions on how to navigate the property as well as what was available to use in the “outhouse”. If ever back in the area, we would def stay here again! We loved how close it was to Watkins Glen and other amenities!

Matt and Sheryl host a great spot. Matt welcomed me right when I arrived and gave a quick orientation. Hosts are friendly, stay is fairly priced with sufficient amenities and great private camp spots. If you’re in the area certainly worth the stay.

We camped with our 16' Casita trailer for several nights at Pooh's Korner. Matt and Sheryl are wonderful hosts- they found us a spot that fit our trailer, made sure we were comfortable, and provided lots of information about the area. The sites are very private, and the location is ideal if you want to explore the WG area. We took a tour of the Farm Sanctuary, just down the road. And we loved watching all the fireflies at night! We're planning to return in the fall!

We loved tent camping on Matt and Sheryl’s property! They were great hosts and easy to communicate with. Perfect location close to the village but was quiet and private as well. Would recommend and stay here again!

We loved Pooh’s Corner and highly recommend to anyone looking for a private, quiet place to set up camp! The hosts are so sweet and helpful and even showed us around the property and provided amazing recommendations for things to do in the area. We stayed at the Rabbit Hole and were even visited by two bunnies! The theme is so cute and you can really tell how much effort and love has been put into building the property. The bathroom is very nifty and cozy which is very much appreciated especially when tent camping. Overall I 100% recommend staying here!🩷🩷

We're new to Hipcamp, but it was a wonderful first experience. The camp is well appointed with amenities and privacy. Sheryl was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and I'm sure would make any traveler feel at home.

Sweet spot! Peaceful, laid out nicely, had solid amenities - on the site there were chairs, a fire pit you could cook on, a bench, and a picnic table. Just around the way there there was the nicest outhouse I've ever seen by far, first aid kit, hot and cold water - all right along a trail. Solar powered too, turns out. Awesome spot to spend the night.

Camping at Pooh‘s Corner was one of the most amazing experiences I have had car camping. The hosts are absolutely delightful. The area is serene, and the amenities are hotel quality. The “secret” gorge is worth the trip. I cannot wait to return!

Roo’s Hammock Swing
We loved camping at Poohs corner! The spot is very pleasant and peaceful while offering a good view of the stars at night. It’s also not too far from town which is plus. To add on to this, it had rained during our stay and I ended up getting my car stuck in the mud, but Matt and Sheryl are problem solvers and went out in the middle of the rain to get us unstuck with their tractor, which I am very thankful for. All around, this is a great spot to camp and get away from city life and is hosted by very wonderful people.

We had such a great time, despite the rain, at Pooh’s Hideaway! Super close to the compost toilet and hot water dispenser. Plenty of space for our Wawona 6 tent and then some. We joked that the only thing missing was an ice machine! lol thank you Matt and Sheryl for having us!

an absolutely beautiful site! the hosts are so sweet and the area and amenities are extremely convenient, clean, and cozy. it’s very close to the park (which is why we came, so that was very convenient). the shed has a nice and clean toilet, info about the area, and any other odds and ends you might need camping, which were so helpful. with the rain we experienced, it got hard to drive up to the site with our 2-wheel-drive car, but otherwise, no complaints at all!

This place just has such a great vibe. Each spot puts you in a lil camping spot but you are far enough away that you have privacy. The hosts are super nice and easy to get ahold of. Love that the camp site comes with a tripod for cooking (which we took advantage of). Highly recommend for camping!!

My dog bean and i stayed for about 2 weeks. We had the most perfect time. Matt and Sheryl are absolutely perfect and wonderful hosts. Great honey!
